If the Senate passes this unread bill, watch what happens to industry. Many jobs are going overseas to such places as China where they are building one new coal fired power plant every 10 days. Do you think industry is going to hang around where they have to pay onerous energy taxes in a country run by the equivalent of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe?

Theres a lot at stake here. We just want to make sure that when Congress does pass a climate bill, it is legislation that ensures affordable reliable electricity for all Americans, promotes greater energy security and also reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

We won't influence climate but we will drive industry (what's left of it) out of America if this bill becomes law. These companies will go where they aren't taxed for energy use. Then we will see a big brown cloud drifting out of China to our West coast. America can stay productive and shun this economy killer, or we can disappear onto the compost pile of History.
