what happens if you have no overdrive or distortion on and its just on clean and you turn up your midboost will it still give you a overdrive/boost or do u have to have some kind of boost/distortion on??? :D

If you have a loud amp then putting the mid boost on will put the amp intop overdrive. (like how Clapton uses it).

Because I don't play that loud I use an overdrive pedal to get that overdrive with the mid boost.

Yea I know what you mean, yea the custom shop is nice but I liked my 'artist' version aswell, they are great guitars.

Thanks, yea it's worth it. It's generally a better build and I think the neck feels slightly different too. The artist version is great too though.
