Dont take russian style too lightly... they can do the staff and its been proven in many places many times. better to watch and learn with humble mind.
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
He can't do it in real! In slowmotion everybody can do it. Believe in real life he never can do this, that are TO MUCH moves, and in a fight you have no time ti THINK! Beliebe me, i exercise chinese kung fu since 24 years!
Generally speaking, the dynamics of the movements are fine. Its true in a real attack the defence / counter moves would be fewer perhaps messier but the relaxed approach way can be very effective under high pressure. I tend to prefer 'soft' practice for certain dangerous techniques (joints, vital areas etc.) and 'hard' practice for working wrestling and certain kinds of 'safer' punching
In his defence. it is hard to show fast Russian style stick work safely, as it differs from oriental movements in that the stick is always moving, and not stopped in focused hits, and just because you cant do it fast doesnt mean he cant do it fast, he is training safely .
Kalijasin, Just because the guy is working slowly does not mean it is weak. The body learns better in a slow motion. And it preserves ones training partners. The guy is not fighting, only demonstrating. What you can take away and use is the relaxation and flow of the movements. Use these principles in your work and it will improve. IMHO this is good stick study.
Another castrated aikijutsu with fake "russian roots". Damn Kadochnikoff etc.

This stick fighting is weak. They'd get their asses kicked by a filipino martial artist.
