Hey if you're claiming 400whp, you should show some videos ;) 400whp on a GT2871 sounds like 25+ psi and race gas. What do you run on the streets?

not with his mods. note the 272 procams. im sure he could pull that at 20 psi.

poncams (256) with stock boost on a stock gt25, with fuel mods, exhaust, and a flash will put down 280 whp any day of the week.

those 272s will make it much easier to peak at 400whp with lower boost, albeit at a much higher (im thinking over 6800 rpm)

in my opinion, cams like that are retarded for a car that is EVER driven on the street. they are only good for numbers.

a good torque curve is flat.

1) SR20 Poncams do not support VCT, Procams do.

2) Tomei does not use "stages" to differentiate their cams

unless you want >350 WHP, the stock exhaust manifold is THE BEST option.

tomei DUPLICATED the stock exhaust manifold with stainless steel to make their expreme manifold.

Great vid. BUT isn't a 272 Procam a bit much for a GT2871R? The 2871r runs out of steam far before the cams will. Judging by your other mods, you are probably going to step up the turbo soon, I just thought it funny that the 2817r's main weapon is low end response and the procam is for top end pull. Seems counterintuitive.

this tuning seems more of a racecar setup and doesnt seem suitable for the street..really loud(straight through exhaust) and rough idle(cams) and probably kills gas(good power) and rough ride(race suspension)...thats probably why you want to sell cause it would seems like a pain in the ass to drive everyday...

other than that..you need to take it out to have some fun with to really enjoy it...i feel for you...just start over and take whats good and leave out whats bad buddy...you will never get what you invest in it back...im telling you from a friend to a friend..better alternative would be to get tien flex coilovers and put on a super quiet exhaust..that way you can drive it around at least and feel that it aint so much of a pain to drive around...i would know...been through it all

actually, with the power fc, i am getting 30 mpg on the freeway, when i'm not stepping on it. the clutch is tricky, even for me at times, and the suspension is set to soft, so it's not too bad. i haven't been pulled over yet for mods. i did get pulled over for traffic violation and the cop didn't say anything or ask questions. i am going to take the cams, ecu, injectors, and maf and run it at stock. less power, but like you said, more streetable. it's not my everyday driver but it can be.
