  • His book always fulfilled with ambitious and energy.I like "WHITE FANG"

  • I love jack london's books

  • Funny fact: he was so good at his job in the fish patrol only because of his previous experience as an oyster pirate, and knew how they worked.

  • i love jacks work

  • Read your history, Jack's mother attempted suicide but failed. She was in Jack's life until the day he died. She may not have been mother of the year, but she was there, taking his money and encouraging him to write.

  • Historically inaccurate, and please take elocution lessons (innerduction?).

  • Interesting: nice outline. Did you know he did a travel documentary and also was filmed playing a sailor in a 1913 movie of The Sea Wolf? Alas, I don't think either film exists today. BTW it is spelled "excerpt".

  • Why did you leave the black end?

  • @SnowVizdom black end was the time that I took questions over it in class and I just never cut it out

  • Jack Londons mother did not commit suicide. She may have tried at one time, but she did not succeed. Flora died of natural causes six years after her son, Jack.

  • @justinnheather I think its debated whether she actually committed suicide or just left. Ether way she was more or less dead to Jack as she wasn't involved in the rest of his life so whether or not it was metaphorically or literally suicide she was still gone from her son's life which is suggested to have prompt the theme of suicide commonly found in his novels.

  • This is not true. she was involved in his life until he died. she may not have been the best mother, but she was there.

  • @joetheterrors I just read Haley's bio of London. He lived with his mother for many years as an adolescent and took care of here until his death. Read the book. Too much academics make you miss the facts....

  • @justinnheather She tried to commit suicide twice to be exact haha

She didn't show that much affection towards him and she was pretty eccentric.

  • thanks this video helped me alot with my english project. awsome :)

  • Amaizing! Thank you!
