I love that Leno makes the distinction that this is the first incarnation of the GT-R that has real worldwide status AS a supercar, not just in the eyes of the loyalists. The whole reason the loyalists view it as a supercar before is b/c it had the most hp that a car could have in Japan(280hp) and it was heavy, but it still held its ground and then some. Not to mention the amount of potential the inline-6 RB engines have.
