why would you need to have water to put the fire out.. when you have a shovel and snow is all around you??? I dont think this lady knows that snow melts in heat and turns into water..........
I would also like to suggest keeping your campfire near a natural border such as a hillside (as it helps to keep heat close). Place large rocks around your campfire pit. Rocks slowly warm up from your campfire, and slowly cool off when your fire is done and provide warmth long after your campfire is extinguished.
