Hey Keith this is a very informative video. I see it was 4 months ago. I ask because I read an article a while ago talking about why G+ is dead. I was really just on my break at work so I can't tell you what paper or the date. Did you ever hear about this in the growing debate over G+ v.s. FB? What's the status in your opinion of G+? Or is it about Google as a whole?

Where you will go to facebook to send you friends messages and birthday wishes - google plus is a content syndication outlet that will expand your public exposure to articles, videos, or whatever content you want to share and monetize. It also increase the search relevancy - as google is the number one place people go to ask questions.

@FirstBourneShowcase If you share a video that is well received and shared through the google plus channels google will give more clout to that material and rank it publicly in the search engines for other to see - even if they are not on G+. It is a sleeping giant that is a monster tool for all those looking to expand their brand and generate income online. Once people on facebook realize their time spent online can yield enough income to sustain a living - they will start thinking "leverage"

- You can videochat with 10 friends

Facebook:

- You need the aproval to add someone

@Shiryd thats why facebook win, most of people don't really care about who see their status, and bore with many regulation. when i upload my video on youtube or post on my blog, i never get a heed who can see my video or my blog post. i already use google circle from the day it launched, but i have no interest to use it anymore. beside all of my friend on facebook. For me, google plus is quite complicated.

Reality...nobody cares about what you're doing on a regular basis unless you're a person of distinction. I find social networking sites pointless when you're either not conducting business or are famous in some degree. Truth is, most people's lives are terminally boring and they have nothing of consequence or value to say. I am definitely not interested in returning to social networking.

@jellyfishslapper Both have privacy controls to limit your exposure. But my suggestion is to use social media as your platform to shout at the top of your lungs to the world. You have to understand that even if you share something you want private with a small group of friends - if it's online it can be printed, copy and pasted, screen recorded and sent to millions. If you are posting online make sure it OK for everyone to know because once its out there - everyone can know : )

It allows us to share that mission with millions and create change from our free wifi access at McDonalds. The thing I don't like about Facebook is the "Pages"... without that I would be happy, but in my opinion it is killing the web development industry... I used to build websites for a living until people stopped paying and started saying "Well I can create a Facebook page for free"... so I don't like Facebook at all! Even launching a new website costs thousands more than it used to, people not willing to look outside Facebook! Yuk!
