Nic just a normal day in the burf. The Power on the two tracks heading to the pit are going to be serviced and it looks like it was a bad night. I cant remembe rif I a working thrids then or had the goofy 1 first shift 2 seconds and two thirds. But that was my home right there.
Wow, Nick! This was definitely worth freezing your hands and feet off for (LOL! well.. maybe not!). If you estimate each unit to be 3000 HP, just for fun, you're looking at 120,000 total HP. Unreal! Great capture. Glad to see that the IC still has some Operation Lifesaver logo'ed units too. Stay warm, man! :o)
nice. love the varitey of power and paint schemes! this summer i plan to make a train tape called the "best of BNSF galseburg Illonois " and "the best of the Twin cites!"
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the Illinois Central. NS popped right into my head when I saw the black locomotive. I took a closer look and saw the Operation Lifesaver logo in back. I was very surprised to see an IC in a BNSF Yard!
I have been to North Platte and there was a road to the locomotive repair shop and there was at least 100-150 locomotives!!!! It was AMAZING!!! I got some pics of it!! But your vid has a lot of power too!! Nice job!!
i dislike living here but cool trains

If you think this is a lot of power you should see Barstow or North Platte.

This place used to have 2 Amtrak Stations. One for the Southwest Cheif and one for the
California Zepher. Now they all go through one station. That junction just east of the station must be a fun place to watch trains.

Thank you very much, Dave!
120,000 HP is absolutely unreal! I was also very glad to see that the Illinois Central logo. When CN repaints it, they should keep the logo on there!
Take care!
