  • hes cute and so tolerant

  • It's ironic that after he gets done talking about mouth infection, he turns to the other side of the skink and based on what he said, it has an infection.

  • Do u know how I can get rid of them?

  • My skink has small black bugs comin off him

What the he'll r they? how do I get rid of them?

  • @TTreptiles

    You're kidding, right? Mites maybe...

  • umm his mouth isnt closed properly

  • your skink is fat!!!

  • @orionclayton94 Blue tongue skinks are supposed to look a little fat.

  • i have a blue tailed skink.....will i get as big ass this one? if not how big will it get?

  • @PJay163

    Yes, and maybe bigger. 8D

  • checking reptiles for boogers...

  • he looks sooo stoned at 1:01

  • isnt it a little bit choppy? :)

  • Anyone know how much a skink would cost at petco and do skinks go good with other skinks in same tank

  • i dunno about american prices, but you are better off trying to find a private breeder...

And most people say they should be kept alone and only introduced for mating purposes, cause they are generally solitary...

  • A price of any BTS should not go over $150 unless its a rare species like a Centralian or Shingleback which can up to the thousands. NEVER can them at a pet store. Almost all of them are wild-caught and most likely full of parasites. Go find a breeder who can prove their stock is captive bred.

BTS are solitary creatures and only are together for mating which is once a year or every other year. Putting more then one in any tank will lead to missing toes or limbs.

  • @BrosFromaNose

I wouldn't get one from there, it might not be in very good condition/not bred properly. Try and find a breeder, the skink will be healthier.

And no... if the other lizard is smaller, the BTS will probably try and eat them. D:

  • hi i have a blue tongue lizard and he lost hes finger and i dont know what to do please help

  • Some lizards shed their toes by accident. Your Lizard will be fine. But if you're worried you should take it to a vet right away. It could take a while for anyone to reply.

  • it must have had shed skin stuck to its toe and the circulation cut off

  • gettin a skink in like 4 days cant wait!!!!!!!

  • I got heaps of those blue tongue lizards in the garden here at home. :)

  • really i feel sick when i saw that

  • ironic that he is talking about lizard health yet the animal he is holding is obese. it doesn't even really look like a blue tongue anymore.

  • It's a certain type of blue-tongue they are supposed to look like that lol

I don't blame you for thinking it though

but if you research bout them you'll find most are quiet fat =]

  • its the desert sub-species from drier areas of australia.

  • Damn, haven't seen one that big.

  • actually it is obese, i have 5 and its obvious which ones are obese and which ones arent.

  • You have a different species of blue tongue

  • he only tlks about its heasd

  • lol

  • mines obese

  • He doesn't comment on how the skink is obese...

  • no it is not... that looks like a vey well kept lizard, it would be an older lizard it looks about 8-12 years old

  • He isn't obese, but he has one helluva chin on him.

  • "mucus"

    :l
