The first time i saw this i didn't cry because i didn't understand it. I guess i was like how Jack was at the concert, i thought this was a nice scene but didn't know what to make of it. But NOW, second time around tears are rolling :)
I'm a 20 year old college student. Last year I watched the entire series on Netflix in a month and became obsessed. When I got to the series finale,lucky, my roommate wasn't here. I began to cry hysterically at this part and when jack "remembers". I just watched this scene again and bawled my eyes out. Lost is more than a show and Michael Giacchino captures my emotion in his score.
I've never understood the Evangeline Lilly bashing. I think the character of Kate was somewhat tarnished by the never-ending love triangle that always seemed to take precedence over explaining the stuff viewers actually cared about... but I think she did a great job overall, and is absolutely stunning in this scene, and people accusing her of being unable to act clearly didn't watch this video.The whole 'dawning revelation of past life during delivery of child' act is fairly niche, y'know. ;)
This is why it doesn't matter what was real and what really happened. If you're still trying to figure that out you totally missed the point of this amazing show. This is it, people. This is as good as it'll ever get.

@MrCanadaben oh... then you only have seen the flashbacks and flashforwards... in season 6, there were these new flash things created called flashsideways. they are flashes in the purgatory world (after you die) but you find that out in the finale. these flashsideways just show what would have happened if they didn't crash on the island. Everyone who was on the island that died would be in the purgatory world which is there they remember eachother... :)
I just think Evangaline Lilly is a great actress! Everytime she cries, I feel like crying with her. Amazing for one of her first roles and she doesn't even want to keep acting.
Until Season 5 LOST, I'd never cried in a book, movie or TV show... Season 5 finale ruined that streak, so did this scene, and so did the Juliet and Sawyer remember scene...

This is so cute!!! I wasn't on the 6th seasin when I first saw this, so I thought Charlie was still dead. But then when I saw him I was so happy! I cried when he died, I cried when I saw Claire and Charlie reunite. :,)
@Sethanator92 After they all died *eventually* they came to the Sideways world of no crash to get over issues in life they never worked out and reunite to "move on" together. The remembering scenes are after they get over their issues and realize what people from the island all meant toeach other. Tchnically, Kate and Claire got decades more memories of being togeter after Jack died. That's why they look so friendly afterward.

@crazytalkerman They still have issues to get over. Jack accepted Claire into his family, he could't in island life, she was still damaged when he died. Kate went back for Claire sooner in the cab, actually convinced her to keep Aaron, not take him away fromher. James let Kate go off to jail even though he is still friends with her on some level. In life, his old feelings for Kate are what convinced Juliet to support Jack, and she died for that.
@MultiFeral You over analyze the purgatory world, the problem with that is i´m sure the producers didn´t thought any of that when writting it.
I don´t understand how is it that good people cannot go to Heaven unless they are perfect and happy.
Imagine you won the lottery, but they tell you that they won´t give you any money until you fix your life the old fashioned way: going to the psychologist, asking apologies, sending your loved ones to the psychologist...
@crazytalkerman They leave much of it open to interpertaton of each viewer. The point was for the core characters to reunite together again. The show does say the island time was the most important in their lives. And most of the characters were shown still having roblems. These are my reasons for Claire and Kate. It's all just opinon, you don't have to agree, part of the fun of lost is the way fans can differ on it.
@Sethanator92 Yes, Desmond knew they weren't supposed to stay in the Sideways they had to "move on" together, and they all had to be ready to accept they died.
@fernycute The Flash-Sideways realm of no crash is a time-les place where they are sprits after they all died *eventually* to reunite and work out issues they never got over in life, Jack got over his Dad issues by having an ilusion of a son. Juliet finally got to exprence motherhood. Sun/Jin only parents together on the island in pregnancy, ilusion that Sun is pregnant in Sideways. Charlie knew Aaron as newborn before Claire went dark=newborn here. Memory flashes are them rembering life here.

This is so cute!!! I wasn't on the 6th seasin when I first saw this, so I thought Charlie was still dead. But then when I saw him I was so happy! I cried when he died, I cried when I saw Claire and Charlie reunite. :,)

@Sethanator92 After they all died *eventually* they came to the Sideways world of no crash to get over issues in life they never worked out and reunite to "move on" together. The remembering scenes are after they get over their issues and realize what people from the island all meant toeach other. Tchnically, Kate and Claire got decades more memories of being togeter after Jack died. That's why they look so friendly afterward.

@crazytalkerman They still have issues to get over. Jack accepted Claire into his family, he could't in island life, she was still damaged when he died. Kate went back for Claire sooner in the cab, actually convinced her to keep Aaron, not take him away fromher. James let Kate go off to jail even though he is still friends with her on some level. In life, his old feelings for Kate are what convinced Juliet to support Jack, and she died for that.

@MultiFeral You over analyze the purgatory world, the problem with that is i´m sure the producers didn´t thought any of that when writting it.
I don´t understand how is it that good people cannot go to Heaven unless they are perfect and happy.
Imagine you won the lottery, but they tell you that they won´t give you any money until you fix your life the old fashioned way: going to the psychologist, asking apologies, sending your loved ones to the psychologist...

@crazytalkerman They leave much of it open to interpertaton of each viewer. The point was for the core characters to reunite together again. The show does say the island time was the most important in their lives. And most of the characters were shown still having roblems. These are my reasons for Claire and Kate. It's all just opinon, you don't have to agree, part of the fun of lost is the way fans can differ on it.

@Sethanator92 Yes, Desmond knew they weren't supposed to stay in the Sideways they had to "move on" together, and they all had to be ready to accept they died.

@fernycute The Flash-Sideways realm of no crash is a time-les place where they are sprits after they all died *eventually* to reunite and work out issues they never got over in life, Jack got over his Dad issues by having an ilusion of a son. Juliet finally got to exprence motherhood. Sun/Jin only parents together on the island in pregnancy, ilusion that Sun is pregnant in Sideways. Charlie knew Aaron as newborn before Claire went dark=newborn here. Memory flashes are them rembering life here.

Has anyone ever thought that our lives are like that but the other way around,we had others lives,perfect lives in another place,and that's why we find some people to be familiar,because we were together then,I know it's far fetched and all,but I wish we lived in that kind of world where it'd be ok to be romantic..

i can watch this over and over again and I always burst out into tears....this charlie/claire remembering scene was the best of all at the end....wow so much emotion all those pictures flooding to your mind of the past seasons...
