  • Come On Folks, are you kidding me? Doug 'Milktoast' Hoffman begged the Conservative Party for the nod in 2009, and he needs our support again soon. Give till it hurts, again.

  • So who won? Anyone know? That Hoffman fellow seems like such a nice guy according to that ad, I'm sure he did well.

  • Club for LOSE!

    Excellent job.

  • Even as a Republican...when I see these rubber stamper neo-con candidates I cringe. No support from talk radio is going overcome the fact that this guy is following a failed political platform.

  • Club for splitting the GOP in two. Nice job on losing a district that has always been republican. More tea parties, more Palin, more finger pointing, less voters. Great job!

  • Debt for our children? Ha! The Republican's debacle in Iraq is going to cause millions of times as much debt as any Washington spending bill could ever dream to. Wake up America!!!

  • Dem plant Scuzzy won the election for Owens by spliting the vote.

Enough of this moderate republican label!

RINO Scuzzy was a liberal through and through and supported the Democrat Owens after Republican status quo idiots gave her $1,000,000 for her ruse!

This is why I don't give money to the RNC.

Palin and Beck did not cause Hoffman to lose this race!

Cheer up true Republicans....the RNC has gotten the point....NO RINOS!!!!!!!

  • Hoffman LOSES!

    Thank you Palin & Beck!

You let a DEMOCRAT win a district it hasn't won in over 150 years!

The candidate Palin was pushing LOST, and the 2 Republican Governors who WON told her to stay the fuck away! HAHAHA

These Crazy Conservatives only want RICH, WHITE, STRAIGHT CHRISTIANS...everyone else can go fuck themselves.

People like Rudy Giuliani are no longer welcome in the new teabaggin' Republican party.

  • umm secure last time i checked Beck hasn't backed any cadidate. he just had him on to talk about what he is running for. i don't know why you hate women so much but it's disturbing behavior.

  • LOL......Palin & Hoffman in 2012!

  • Your ship sang down the tubes Doug now go back to your escort service

    Howard Stern

  • Teabagger loses to a Dem in NY-23. 1st Dem victory since the civil war. Hope Owens thanks Palin for endorsing his opponent during his victory speech. hahahahaahaahhahaahahahahahah

    the GOP = loveable losers

  • Doug Holtz-Eakin would be in the White House pushing the Republican domestic agenda and blocking health-care reform, at McCain's side. He was McCain's top health-care guru. He's now unemployed, so his COBRA health coverage is running out.. He has one of those pesky "preexisting conditions", so his insurance companies denied coverage. Sucks to be him.

    Go Doug, please, just go!

  • NY23 has the opportunity today to send both parties a strong message.

I hope all Hoffman supporters can get out and vote!

  • Doug says, "In 1980, I helped Lake Placid with our Olympics when the US beat the Russians in hockey - the same year Reagan was elected. It's time to send Washington a new message now. Oh, and did I mention Reagan"?

  • Go Hoffman, no more incumbants, lets get those term limits voted in!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Doubtful he could do that in his first term, and if he did... no second term. Good example of "you can't have your cake, and eat it, too."

  • what the hell? "Financial Expert" HE'S AN ATTORNEY = LAWYER, just like Bill Owens. Good ad other than that.

  • Hoffman doesn't even live in the district. He will loose. Funny to see the GOP tripping all over themselves over this guy.

  • Comment removed

  • It isn't the FIRST time someone has carpetbagged in NY politics. Bobby Kennedy did it in '64 and Hillary in '00. I guess it's only alright to do it if your a big time lib. HYPOCRACY.

  • Too bad Hoffman isn't from the District. I think the word for that is... carpetbagger, or just carpet tea bagger?

  • So are you saying that Hillary shouldn't have been elected to the Senate since she was a carpetbagger? BTW, to run for the House, you don't have to live in the specific district.

  • Just keep electing those democrats and soon you will be no better off then Michigan or California.

  • Go, Hoffman!

  • Doug Hoffman is the man we need - he wants to see to it that all public schools start & end with prayer & that all books on evolution are removed from the school libraries!

  • Your sarcasm has failed.

  • Conservatives do not force their ideologies on other people the liberals do that!

I wonder if you really believe this or you just posted it to make people think twice about voting for Hoffman?

  • I support Doug Hoffman. He understands the financial mess Washington has created and he will work to help us save our dollar. Go Doug, may God bless.

  • Agree with captainwonka about the war thing .. u watch, Obama will lead us to another major war -- of course I'm sure that some how it will be Bush's fault.

  • ALL Roads lead back to Bush!

With him now a motivational speaker, he'll get us out of it!

  • The Conservative Party in New York is a 3rd party?? I thought it was mainly a New York-based version of the GOP. wtf

  • New York is pretty unique in having "fusion ballots". It means several parties can nominate the same candidate, and the votes for the candidate will be added together. The Conservative Party of New York State usually nominates the same person as the GOP, but in some cases, like Buckley in the '70s, they run their own candidate.

  • What the Conservative Party does is act as a check on the Republicans. Historically, NY Republicans are notoriously liberal. The CP of NY ensures that the Republican at least adheres to some conservative principles. I wouldn't say they're a 3rd party in as much as they're a broker. This should be emulated at the national level, so Republicans can't go liberal.

  • whoo689: Check your history -- whoo(?) gets us into the REALLY big wars?!

  • whoo689, let's see...wilson, democrat, world war I. Roosevelt, democrat, world war II. Johnson, democrat, Vietnam. Of course you're correct with your imaginary facts.

  • like Obama is keeping war costs down? HA!

  • At least NO BLANK CHECKS...LOL
