actually it's like 20 miles away from Bridgewater Plaza. It's at the Smith Mountain Dock and Lodge, over by Striper's Landing.

Ok, yea once you said that I looked at the dock more and it does look like the lodge. I rarely go over there. I usually see them at the Bridgewater Docks or the Crazy Horse area.

Well I'm actually very safe with them. It's pretty simple to scoop them up gently, hold them for a sec for people to see or get a picture, then place them back gently into the water. So no harm is done...... they are fish..

The place is called Bridgewater Marina, I go there every year, the carp have been there for as long as I can remember.

Smith Mountain Dock is on the other side of the lake, the carp would swarm there too.

I go down to Bridge water and mess with them. Well my friends and i have caught a few during the summer. It's pretty awesome because all the tourist come down to watch and three different people bet us $20 that we couldn't catch them. So then we were $60 dollars richer. :)

My grandparents live like 5 minutes by boat from the Cliffs. Don't try going there anymore; there are frequently cops watching it because the dickheads who bought up the land don't want people jumping anymore. My cousins got arrested for trespassing.
