  • it's genious good job ;)

  • scary description

  • Yeah there are many new versions of the M16 now like the M16A1, M16A2, M16A3, M16A4. Some are three burst. Anyways, In my last comment I meant to say not the stop looks different but their Stocks. (Which is the back of the gun where your shoulder rests on.)

  • what powers the big thing in the back that moves back and forth?

  • @MichaelMaleszyk 'god damn bloody powerful'

  • Now I understand why they call them `slug throwers` - Very simple. much simpler than I thought.

It really is just an upgrade to throwing a rock or firing an arrow- just a lot faster and deadlier, but the operation is basicly just `slug-throwing,`

  • I love these function videos. I don't think the m16 or m4 is unreliable at all with clean burning powder/ammo.

  • what software are you using?

  • to think something so simple as that is illegal

  • where's the gas??? :)

  • People, just agree with the fact that the AR design has been in service since the Vietnam war. Now shut the fuck up and go shoot something.

  • good animation :D

  • @minitos1 M16 is the original mechanism. I'm not going to change it to m4a1 because it is the same thing.

  • @ajpeters12 i understund its just cause its not same... first m16/AR-15 was used in Vietnam but m4a1 is used in our days or today

and second i understud why its an m4 cause of the shape of the arm thing at the gun so im not telling this for bad its a good video i just wanted to correct u... and if u want to awnser make something that will end the chat cause im boared XD

  • @minitos1 ummm no, same mechanism, same exact mechanism, except for the full auto for the m4a1.

  • @ajpeters12 M16 CAN BE FULL AUTO .... M4 IS LIGHTER AND MORE COMPACTED .... CLEARLY THIS IS A M4

  • @LaFlare8732 either way. its awesome.

  • @ajpeters12 Actually the M16's are all fullauto... v.v

  • @LanOsb133 no... The M16A3(4?) is burst-fire/semi-automatic, the M4 is as well and i think the M4A1 can do all modes.

  • @DkntyTV A3 is full auto.

  • @minitos1 That's bullshit dude!

  • @Pebbsie its not

  • @minitos1 you, my friend, are a dumbass.

please stop playing Call of Duty.

  • @ShadowBlade448 why cant u all stop the mechanism is same the only dif is the size and the arm i want this to stop i cant put 2 comments here each day!!! why cant u understund ur the dumbass cause of this ur doing i damn did a stupid mistake i said sorry whats ur probem dude!

  • @minitos1 I have problems with your grammar.

  • @ShadowBlade448 of course when u talk with an 11 years old greek... that is doing chating letters like:

    h3y wh4ts4 d01ng...

  • @minitos1 if you're 11, you're too young to be on youtube. you have to be at least 13. get off and don't get on again.

  • @ShadowBlade448 whats ur problem dude my friend has facebook from 8 -.- LOL true

  • @ShadowBlade448 and can this damn stop i dont want to talk about that anymore the problem has been finished no more awnsers please i got it finaly stop doing this its so annoying!

  • @minitos1 in essence, the m4 is the m16 with a shorter barrel and telescoping stock. the trigger mechanism, bolt assembly, all the internals are practically all the same.

    and that "arm thing"....do you mean the barrel shroud? because those can be changed with other parts;

you can't necessarily tell an exact rifle based on looks. eg. there's a rifle that looks like the ak series from the outside (forgot its name) but the internals are completely different.

  • @minitos1 The only difference between the M16 and M4 series of rifles is the length of the barrel and stock.

  • @mormonboy32able finaly someone who understunds me :D

  • @minitos1 our an idiot. Only difference between the M16 and M4 is the barrel length and FORGRIP not the "arm thing" v.v If you are going to argue about guns atleast know what you are talking about....

  • @LanOsb133 nice gramar "our" and sorry im from greece basicly i knew it its called forgrip but i forgot it -.-

  • @minitos1 Your* the "y" ke doesnt always work.

  • @LanOsb133 yeah and my L key desnt always work :P one day i wrote LOL 11 times : LO LL OL OL LO LO LO LO OL yeah it was so bad XD

  • @minitos1 actually no the m4a1 is not used by the US its acctualy an m4 carbine wich is 3 round burst unlike the m4a1 wich is full auto, and the part about m16s being used in vietnam is true but also many support part of our military like transportation still use m16s

  • @coolohman true but pls PLEASE can this thing over cause i got 3 awnsers in this video every day i think ive posted 15 comments -.-

  • @minitos1 yeeeaaa. and the m16 has been upgraded all the way up to the M16A4. It is still the standard issue rifle today.

  • @minitos1 lol thats not wat the difference between an m4 and an m16

  • @ajpeters12 AR-15 is the original mechanism...

  • @ajpeters12 the m4a1 has a smaller barrel while the m16 has a longer one

  • m4a1 is fully auto m16 is 3 round burst (can be set to fully auto)

  • @madshoejvang did you learn that off of COD? cause the M16A4 can not be set to fully automatic anymore. No standard issue firearms (even in the army) are fully automatic anymore.

  • @TheMinersSon The M4 is automatic. The MP5 is automatic. What are talking about?

  • @banddude121 Those are mainly for special forces, what i meant was no AR type weapon, (M4 included) is automatic.

  • Comment removed

  • @minitos1 Actually its a AR15

  • @minitos1 M16 and the M4A1 are in the same "family", so the M4 is like an updated M16, I am pretty sure they were made by the same creator. But they do look very alike just the stop looks different

  • @ClipzTheatre agree ... did you know? the m16 at the vietnam war was full auto but in these days full auto m16 is unleagle

  • @minitos1 looks like the same and almost work like the same just the diference are the materials (well that is what i know :3)

  • @minitos1 Great just stand there while i go shoot my self..

  • It would be amazing a revolver animation

  • It sucks.I mean, can you atleast make the animation faster?thanks!

  • I LOVE THE BACKGROUND MUSIC WHATS THE TITLE OF THE SONG ??

  • the bullet looks tiny. lol

  • @softaapje it's called direct impingement, the gas flows directly from the tube to a hole in the gas block on the bolt. It just uses the gas to push it back, theres no piston like an Ak

  • what make's the system go back and load a new round in the chamber?

is it just like a ak gas blow back system or something?

  • And then it double feeds because you didn't clean it properly.

    FRONT LEANING REST POSITION........... MOVE!

  • is it the charging handle you pull back to load the 1rst round in to the chainber?

  • that's so simple I can't believe it's real

  • cool, but, you killed my animation uncle .... you will PAY ... 3 dollars please

  • AK-74 is better

  • It doesnt show the gases traveling up the gas block and through the gas tube back to the bolt and upper reciever like it should when it is really being fired!!!!!

  • @1987James

I was looking for that too OMG!

  • @1987James Yes, it also doesn't show the gasses entering through the gas key into the chamber created by the bolt carrier and bolt where the gasses expand forcing the bolt carrier reward. It doesn't show how the gas chamber operates. The reason for the gas rings on the bolt and the gas ports on the bolt carrier. This is an awesome design by Eugene Stoner. What makes this so unique is that there is no carrier tilt unlike the AR piston modification that is the fad today.

  • @1987James exactly that's what makes the rifle cycle the ammo.

  • FAKE!!! FAKE AND GAY!!! the inside of an AR-15/M-16 isn't yellow!

  • @11leeman YOUR ASS IS GAY AND YOUR FACE IS FAKE NIGGA!

  • FAKEEEEE

  • thats smart put everything in yellow! oh well im not planing on desining guns, im just a sad busterd that watches this just like all of you guys :D

  • They both function the same. Same gas system.

  • IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW!

  • FAKE

  • @cotyuv "FAKE"

    ???

  • @cotyuv Wtf do you mean?

  • is this a computer program, Where can I download it

  • No doubt, if the purpose of my rifle is for one shot one kill, as with our Squad Designated Marksman (who carries an M14 EBR, chambered in .308) I'm picking the .308 hands down. He also carries a lot less ammo than us, because he has a different job. He isn't going to be laying down suppressive fire for me when I have to take my fire team on a bold flanking maneuver though, that will be the job of the 5.56. Each has it's own job. Sorry for your buddy, I know how that goes. Out.

  • @m14Lover308 Yea, I understand where you are coming from completely. I've seen taliban run around after being hit too. But unfortunately, infantry tactics are not, and never have been, one shot one kill. We have to put down suppressive fire so our friends can move without being hit. Sometimes the job is to keep someones head down, and this round is great at that. Firing large amounts of ammo is part of our tactics at time, and allows us to maneuver to more effectively kill the enemy.

  • @m14Lover308 It's not about the discomfort, infantry is always discomfort. But If I load up with max weight of 5.56 vs the same max weight of 7.62, I'm gonna have a lot more 5.56 than I would with 7.62. That means a lot up in the mountains when resupply is a long ways away and choppers can not always get to you. There is no way that I can argue agains 5.56 having an equal stopping power, it doesn't. But for my circumstances it's essential to keeping me mobile in a harsh environment.

  • @m14Lover308 Well, I've seen plenty of Taliban "squirrels" go down on the business end of this "squirrel gun". Plus, you hump 210 to 400 rounds of that .308 you love so much up the side of some fucking afghan mountain day in and day out, and you'll want that squirrel gun.

  • Now I'm curious. I've seen many times that people reload their M4, AR-15, M16, etc similar weapon, from the charging handle like this animation. Then I've seen people reload it by pressing some little button once they're placed the magazine. How does that little button work?

  • @CommandoFin The charging handle cocks the hammer by pulling back the bolt. Releasing will let the bolt drive forward and chamber one round.

But, if you spent a whole magazine, the follower will reach the top of the magazine and hit the bolt catch, that "catches" the bolt back. When you insert a new magazine, pressing the bolt catch will release the bolt and chamber a new round without having to pull the charging handle.

You can see pics on "AR15 dot com" if you search "bolt catch" images.

  • all that complicated crap to fire that pathetic little 5.54, sheesh, ak all the way for me

  • @reproducable It's really not that different from the AK, to be honest. Though I agree, 7.62x39 is better.

  • @celestialobserver true, however, this is still more complex. :)

  • Can someone explain to me why or how the charging handle doesnt retract when firing? becuase for me the mechanism looks the same when firing and pulling it back?

  • @podsterkid the bolt is independant of the charging handle, and allows the bolt to move without moving the charging handle, but when moving the charging handle, it will grab the bolt and force it back.

  • @CopperLeagueGaming ah ok thanks for the info.

  • @m14Lover308 Anus.

  • Penis.

  • How does the mechanism pull the empty cartridge back from the firing chamber to the rear where it ejects? Just by suction or are there magnets in play or so?

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Gas thru the gas tube pushes it back. You don't really see that in this animation.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH There is what is called an extractor on the face (end) of the bolt. It is a little hook device that grips a grove (or sometimes a rim) on the back of the cartridge, and pulls it out of the chamber. The bolt pulls the spent cartridge back and out of the chamber and on its way back it hits an ejector, a little device that hits the back of the cartridge moving to the rear, and redirects it, with great force, out of the ejection port in the rife.

  • Don't they use a gas impingement system like the guy below me said as well as a rotating bolt? It looks like theres alot of pieces missing.

  • Looks like you forgot the gas impingement system.

  • this is not how it works.. sorry buddy

  • @11adventuretime11 This is EXACTLY how it works. Bushmaster is a manufacturer of M16's and the related, they would know.

  • what program is that?

  • @wiiandmacrules

    inconcistencies in your story:

You said you had 5 phd's(whatever they are, im only 14) then 4 then 5 again.

You got special permission to join marines and then you got an invitation

and a lot more which I won't list to not completeley ruin your day because you made my day(yes I actually read the 36 pages of bullshit)

BTW the only weapon you could fire would be a .22 because it really has no recoil but bushmaster would dislocate your arm. That's why I didn't shoot with it.

  • @xrayfishx i have to keep changing my history because im in the black ops and i sometimes give up 1 phd and gain it again within 1 week for fun cause i am smart and i can complete doctrates in 1 week also the inviation was the specail permission to join the marines and im only 14 so you should be ashamed because you are being beaten by a 14 year old plus i bring real guns to airsoft fields to shoot the wannabes cause they don't play paintball

  • @wiiandmacrules You may have thought that made you sound cool, but you just look retarded.

  • @wiiandmacrules nevermind, read through the last couple pages of comments, and realized you're just a master troll at work. carry on.

  • @wiiandmacrules really dude,

Why you keep making a fool of yourself. If you had to keep changing your story and you were so smart then you wouldn't post your story on yt anyway.

  • @xrayfishx because i am a marine corp black ops and black ops memebers like me have to keep chaning their story or else the retard liberal obama lovers will come after me

  • that's a car-15! not a m-4, not an m-16, a car-15. because it has a recoil shoulder thingy, and a shorter barrel, also the hand thing around the barrel is shorter.

  • 1.that is a m4 not a m16 (m4 has a shorter barrel)

    2. AR-15 is not a m16

    3.m16 is a AR-15

    4. the AR-15 is a universal design name (as in the C7 is an AR-15 , the M4 is an AR-15)

    that is all

  • I A does not equal B, then B does not equal A.

If an AR-15 is not an M-16, then an M16 is not an AR-15.*

    *Your argument is invalid.

  • @schifty1 The AR-15 is colts identification, M16 is the US military's name for it. Just as the Masada/ACR the original makers called it the masada but bushmaster bought it from the original makers just calling it the ACR does this make the masada and ACR different? Or M16 and AR-15 different

  • @BrandonSchwarz Just a bit of history, AR-15 is ArmaLites identification... ArmaLite model 15 = AR-15. Colt bought the rights later on.

  • @BrandonSchwarz The AR-15 is a very general term given to any rifle in the M16/M4 family of rifles (I just posted another comment about this). The M16 (any version) is a very specific design. Also, the Masada and the ACR are different rifles, mainly in the variation of the placement of the charging handle between the two (there are a few other, less noticeable differences). What I was referring to was the general differences between the two, outside the operating mechanism.

  • @schifty1 The M-16 has the same loading/firing function as the AR-15

  • @RunescapeHacks115 Yes I know, I was referring to the other differences between them outside their operating function.

  • @schifty1 your an idiot they work exactly the same way they were designed by the same person the M16 was adopted for military use and the AR 15 was for civilian use with only a semi auto option. Its the exact same rifle read a book cuntrag

  • @BlIIzY Yes, I realize that they work the same way. I was trying to explain that they are different in certain ways, as the AR-15 is a general term adopted for any AR-15 style rifle. The M16A2 for example, is 5.56mm caliber, has a 20 in barrel, a polymer fixed stock, a integral carry handle, a direct impingement gas system, and a three round burst function. An AR-15 can be .223, 5.56mm, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, etc. It could have any number of barrel lengths, types of stocks, and handguards.

  • Any AR-15 is semi auto, but it can either have a direct impingement, or a gas piston gas system, either a flat top receiver, or one with an integral carry handle. It could have no flash hider, an after market one, or an M16A2 style, like the A2 itself does. They are different rifles, I don't know why no one gets this. The M16A2 (for example, I could use any version) is a very specific design. Like I said before, AR-15 is a very general term given to any CIVILIAN rifle in the M16/M4 family.

  • typical white trash , a lot of muscules and no brain

  • Both of you kill yourselves...

  • Guns are toys LOL

  • to hell with our military like a really wanna go put my life on the line for the people who bullied me and all the rapist, murders, child molsters, drug addicts, illegal aliens, etc etc etc, once i thought about that i stood up and walk out of the army recruiter station and got job and going to college full time.

  • @trigun890 may i reccomend the idea of free communism aka anarcho communism

  • @metroid877 your a brain washed choed.

  • @trigun890 well.. offer a suggestion and get called brain washed... whore... thats why you were bullied.. for being an asshole.. i hate democracy because its a joke.. the gov't has had the right to spy on us ever since 9/11.. and i support free communism beause of the simplistic manner of it, and it wouldnt end up like marxist communism due the lack of bans and constriction of the people... gtfo cunt.

  • nice

  • O.o

  • Quick question. What is the difference between the CAR-15 and an M4 Carbine?

  • @eman1ful CAR-15 was an informal name for the XM177/Colt Commando type of rifles used in the Vietnam era. Soldiers called them "CAR-15" because they were a carbine length (shorter barrel than a fullsize rifle) and the name stuck. Essentially a CAR-15 had anywhere between a 10.5-11.5" barrel depending on the model and had the traditional carryhandle top (fixed, non-removeable like an M-16A1). The M4 is the latest version of the M-16 family of rifles, it has the removable top and a 14.5" barrel

  • Hurry up and wait! The motto of the Military GI.

    Bobby

    Vietnam era veteran....

  • what website

  • if you still like your rifle after 3 or 4 days into basic in the field and think it's like cod, there is something wrong with you and you need to be discharged on medical basis.

It's actually the Cheytac M200 Intervention but anyway well done on pointing that out to him.

  • oh boy!!!! i cant wait to get into the army!!! i will kill a lot of terrorists, i will run scavenger pro, cold blooded pro and commando pro with scar silenced and akimbo model 1887, they will never know my setup, my killstreaks will be: care package, harrier strike and ac-130, yeah it will be awesome!!

Sadly a lot of kids think that combat is like videogames and might think that above, if you are one of those, please turn off ur ps3/xbox and get some sunlight, learn about life.
