  • Why is is that although all these players are superb musicians this version doesn't have anything like the originals energy or passion? No reflection on Sting or Stevie, but the backing band sound like they're going through the motions.

  • Best version of this is 1979 secret policemans ball...

  • He's still so sexy... mniam

  • sting's voice is getting better with age

  • look at that bass! so used, so fuckin real. as the music.

  • sting+stevie= Justin bieber kills himself

  • Watching Sting play the bass is a wonderful thing.

  • this is so increddibly awesome :D

  • Sting's confidence is shocking live... i've seen him tons of times and each time I'm blown away by the power of this man

  • Greatest concert I never went to...would have given my left nut to go though.

  • Stevie Wonder is the happiest person on earth :)

  • love Stevie's input! might be just a few words, but brings even more soul and energy to another great performer

one of the few concerts I would have paid a ticket to attend

  • se viene en viña ctm :DDD

    eh,eh,eh,eh...

  • Stevie Wonder + Sting = no words

  • Wow:)

  • this is amazing,!!!!!!

  • Sting @ slapping? Wow ;)

  • Why they using Autotune???????????????????

  • I think these man are the most fantastic singers! I like how their voices match together! Stevie Wonder is sooo good!! And Sting, what shall i say?... Love them!!

    FANTASTIC!!!

Everybody that agree with me... thumbs up!!

(I'm not English or American, so my words are not completely correct..:S)

  • Man! 2 fantastic singers together, their vocal ranges are incredible! Sting hits the ''C'' tenor a few other times during the song, Stevie does the improvisation that's really high, though if I'm not mistaken Sting used to sing in Gm with the Police that's even higher (Half step). Outstanding singers!!!

  • 1:38 - 1:46 <3

  • Stevie's wonderful voice just make sting look mediocre.

  • @tomorocko You forget Sting WROTE that song....

  • @leocorno50

No I didn't it just makes Sting make even more mediocre compared to Stevie. Sting is good but Stevie Wonde ris just mind blowing.

  • @tomorocko I don't think music is about competition... it's about talking souls. There are occasions when Stevie does this to me, other occasions when Sting hits the nail, and others when some guitarist just plays two chords that make me shiver. It's about resonance. If you resonate best with Stevie, how wonderful and awesome!! No reason to call someone else mediocre, just because he doesn't do the trick with you. He does it with me.

  • @leocorno50

I couldn't agree more. Very well put. :)

I would like to add that for me, as a bass player and some times singer, I dont find Sting that musically impressive but I do respect that he is a great song writer and many people love his voice.

Thanks for your great comment. A really good way to explain why we like music and what tickles some peoples fancy.

    :)

  • My god, why haven`t i listen to Sting before? He`s really good! :)

  • I prefer this over Justin Bieber anytime.

  • amazing voice.. but damn he sucks at bass hahah

  • @BenjaminMJ no he doesn't suck at bass... there's just no need to play anymore on the bass for this song ...it's a masterpiece the way it is

  • @c0d3x001 I didn't say he needs to play anything more complicated. It's just that you can really tell how the groove of S.Wonder's band is so much better than Sting's groove on that bass.. His bass really stands out because his playing isn't as good.

  • @c0d3x001 1:56 he's not even on time here

  • @BenjaminMJ yeah I know what you mean there. Sting is and will probably always be just more of a singer than a bass player. Still great performance there.

  • wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Stings 59?! OMG he's sounds amazing.

  • not the best vid of this on utube ....good anyway

  • I have heard Sting live before but this performances.... I haven't heard him sing this song so well. I dont know if this is the same perosn. He didn't sing this good at 1:43. WOW

  • Awesome song.

  • 2 estilos diferenes pero magistralmente se fusionan y hacen solo lo que los maestros pueden, deleitar sin importar si te gusta el rock, el R&B, el Jazz , simplemente grandes Sting y Steve

  • really amazing ! i love it ! thats music yeah

  • Wow. Sting's got a great voice at 59?! Yes indeed. But I think Stevie is a little older and has an even better voice! Can't compare the two but two amazing artists who have contributed loads and influenced many artists today...! Love it!

  • @jln673 Stevie is 60.

  • sting`s voice is still amazing... 59 years old... amazing!

  • @absurdalny Really?! 59?! OMG!!! He looks like he's in his late 30's without the beard! O.O
