No where in the Vedic literature does it define the individual is nothing. We are all 'nitya', eternal parts of the Supreme Consciousness.
This fact is corroborated in sutra 2.3.16. There it is said, nAtma shruter nityayatvAc cha tAbhyah', that is the soul or the 'jivatma' is a partial 'kshetra-jna' or knower of the field of the body. Again in Brahma Sutra 2.3.24 it is stated 'gunAd vAlokatvat' that the soul by its quality pervades the whole body.
this is one of the most beautiful videos of swamiji...
can someone ask swamiji if 2012 is a really important spiritual year and that global consciousness will undergo (as it is undergoing) a major shift for the better during that period in a manner thats really overwhelming.thank you.
Body and the rest are not self. There is only pure energy expressing itself in the myriads temporary forms. Realizing this truth helps to remove yet more pieces of the ego identification. Such pure truth from the Source. Thank you Swamiji.
I do understand what you are trying to say but I have clearly mentioned that if we see things beyond the relative cognition there are no differences but only wholeness and oneness. In that wholeness things like you, me good, bad, death birth are one and the same
We are just waves, we are going to fall back to the ocean anyway, why bother? There is no reason for tapas or do anything one doesn't feel like doing. Why follow or surrender to any guru/deity unless it feels natural to do so? Is it okay to just be a contented hippie doing her own thing or nothing at all?
es my friend .. thats absolutely right... but at the same time you should behave like a wave... untouched by grief and sorrow or unaffected by anysituation good or bad. If ou can achieve that, then you are already enlightened n dont need anything.
Well hear is what I have read about karma. The law of karma definately works but during spiritual progress the advanced stages are beyond karma.
This means that when you are no longer affected by ur material condition the law of karma also becomes irrelevant. Spiritualy advanced beings are not affected by joy or grief, so to them karma is irrelevant. So as u go up the spiritual ladder even karma becomes irrelevant
When swamiji say that karma is only a hypothesis, and it has only relative significance or existentially, he is talking about a subtle thing, which need to be heard very carefully.
He seem to explain the seeming conflict between fate(karma) and free-will. As long as we live in relative world, karma may be applicable, but karma is not a certainity science like physics-of-world, instead a subtle science, freewill too have equal role in an undefined manner.
In short, I feel, he only mean to say that no one can prove or disprove theory of karma. He also wanted to say that karma is not the last word, as the absolute, the existence is not bound by karma or any rules for that matter.
But in relative world, karma operates, so do free-will and randomness of existence. Orderness in randomness and randomness in orderness is the seeming property of even phenomenal world of duality.
After all, all laws of world-physics which are so called proved hypothesis are also relative and valid only in relative conditions even as per current science.
I don't know if I will ever get enlightened but I know one thing for sure, I want to listen to swamiji's discourses all the time. Everyday I check you tube to see if there is any new video uploaded, if there is a new video it gives me immense joy...I don't know why I feel so connected with Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamiji it might be because he is just elder to me by few years and that gives me a chance to become his friend.
