@imthedorf1964 Darlene was the lead singer of the Blossoms, they originally sang "He's A Rebel" but Producer Phil Spector credited the song as The Crystlas, but no Crystals were on that song only Darlene and the Blossoms, and no Darlene was never a Crystal, the same thing happended with "He's Sure The Boy I Love", no Crystals on it just Darlene and the Blossoms, and again credited as the Crystals, Phil Spector was a rotten apple to do that to his artists. xx

I always loved Phil Spector's records in fact He's A Rebel was one of the first 45s I bought back in NY when I was 12 Her voice is as good as ever I don't think Phil ever let of his artists get the credit and attention they deserved Darlene was the best Phil's star began to descend in the late 60s and we all know where it died Despite his guilt I can't help but feel sorry for him He ain't got what it takes to make it in prison
