theres different kinds the bastard sword u get in gavada on normal. depending on difficulty, the weapon power/requirements change, it should be at gavada on hard or very hard mode

just keep on lvling up, after u reach 40 u can equip all needed armor (get past 89 and u can equip the eternal sword on hard mode)

no. they just get annoying, cus i fought about 60 battles(about 3 faffles. each time)and didnt get anything until somewhere in the 100s(i hate my luck)

but the lvl isnt for you being safe, its so you can equip the eternal sword

i have a question about this battle. ive read online that wne ur a lvl 30 swords man and u face kratos in a dual, when u win u get the magic knight class. heres the question. do u have to be lvl 30 to get the magic knight class or dose the lvl of ur charicter matter?

as long as you beat him as a swordsman you get the class, but the quest appearts when your swordsman is lvl 30

you wont get your last arte until you are lvl.56.....its called punishing beast....then master it then kaboom!you have your mystic arte

I beat him with a swordsman on lvl 49,so you should be around 50. Having a few tales of charas with their mystics artes helps alot

take a priest with you andheal when he has 35000 hp because he will summon a friggin huge sword that cruushs youand this killed my whole team

Lol I beat him in level 55 in hard by spamming him with sword rain alpha and rending tiger blade.

unless yu have a different version of the game

yu need a lvl30 swordsman to get that quest to appear in ailily, if it doesnt appear use the BOL title to search for jobs or just constantly leave town and go back to the guild to refresh quest

lvl 30 is impossible to beat him

get it to lvl 40 with full fencer stuff and yu'll have a chance

well, the fighter has quick attacks, but the swordsman has cooler techs

the fighter unlocks ninja when you beat senel, and the swordsman unlocke the magic knight when you beat kratos

A good way to defeat kratos is how i beated him

Use sword rain alpha to interupt he's spells

and hit him up in the air

Then use rising falcon

And repeat

fighter is best for 1vs1, just run behind when hes about to attack and make a huge combo, best finished with beast impact or beast or a combo arte

A quest comes up called "Mabo Curry" Which needs for you to make Mabo Curry or to earn it as a reward, The easiest way to get it is doing Nanily's Requests In Dopland and get Mabo Curry like that, After awhile into the game, The quest "Mabo Curry" pops up and it's suppose to get you to give Archie Mabo Curry, When you give it to her, Go to the guild again, A Skit will open with Her giving the curry to Chester, Chester get's all depressed and askes to be alone,

Then after that, Go to the plaza and then a skit will go with You and Chester, Pick "She didn't mean to offend you" Or something like that and you'll get the Invite to become a Hunter.

For those who can't beat Kratos and you atleast a higher level than 32 with Sword Rain and Tiger Rage (Or lightning Tiger Blade for Magic Swordsman) Keep using sword rain when he does spells and when he tries to attack you, dodge it, When Sword Rain is done, Use Tiger Rage/Lightning Tiger Blade on him for an easy kill.

I usually train in ex dungeons, like the ice one or fire one,ex dungeons are good places to train as for my armor you can get from the gilgamesh/gold knight dude in an ex dungeon,you can also get as a rare drop from luke and eugene if I'm not mistaken,and I think the yeti drops flamberge or somethin.

Tip: For Non Hi Ougi Users With Swordsman V.S Kratos.

Flare Bottle ure self and make ure sp full then spam rising flacon it should do like 1k each so do 5 quick flacons and hes dead

The only reason why i got a fighter instead of a swordsman is because swordsmen attack to slow so i went with the fast fighter class.

this game doesn't have two players but I think it has trade thing where you trade stuff with friends,and you should be able to download characters from the official site like a friends char and put it in your party.

to unlock bishop and hunter you have to do certain quests,like I know you have to do a certain characters quests to get bishop,not saying (her) name and you have to do miso quest or somethin for archer,for ninja you have to beat senel,mage knight beat kratos in a duel(only possible with fencer lv30+) grappler right after you beat lloyd in story event along with fencer if I'm not mistaken,thnx for your comments =D (not shooting eng vids yet)

I believe it is non-linear. You get all the Advanced classes by either going through the story or doing 1 vs 1 against certain characters, at least that's what I have heard. But I am definitely going to start out as a Thief, then work my way to a ninja.
