I like that her name is Rei. In Japan the game is called Project Zero, and rei (零) means zero. Rei (霊) also means departed soul or spirit, which fits the game completely.

@dbp822 It would be fairly pointless in doing so as the first three games have been discontinued - the only way to get them now are from "Amazon" and second-hand stores and even then, "Fatal Frame 3: The Tormented" is the rarest (and thus the hardest) of the "Fatal Frame" series to actually find and buy - not that it's impossible to do so or anything. But if you really want this game I suggest getting it from "Ebay" or "Amazon".

Although, to me Fatal Frame 3 is the one who got the biggest stress feeling out of me. I give it great credits for that. The way the player plays different characters alternatively and they're all part of a same story and things some characters do in their missions will have impacts on when the player will play another character... at least, from what I understand so far. Whoa whoa whoa, that ghost at around 5:20 or something...you've just entered the game, and you don't have the Camera Obscura yet, so do you have to fight this ghost? (I know you ran away), but is fighting it an option? Does it hurt you? It's definately trying to attack....

I'm just curious because I know that if I had just started FF3 and had some ghost trying to attack me, I'd get freaked out and try to fight it even without proper knowledge of how to do so....

@armybro8 No, you do not have to fight him, as the normal camera won't hurt him. Your only choice is to run away. Same with the ghost that would have appeared if Rei'd climbed the stairs shown at 3:42. And yes, they both DEFINITELY hurt you. Except that you don't have to worry about Game Overs in the prologue=, so you'd just end up in that garedn courtyard regardless.

@TheStickKid I think FF3 is the best, the longer in the series and probably the longest survival horror ever created, I still can't beat it under 17 hours, it has the best story in the series too, the soundtrack is also top quality, speacialy the ghost battle themes, every single spirit has its own theme and they're creepy as hell and very inmersive, the biggest drawback of this game is that it had to live up to the previous FF's and it didn't bring anything considerably new

No, each characters need to find their own films (films would re-spawn if you "exit" the dream world.)

Each characters also need to find their own unique lenses and they each have to upgrade their cameras separately.

I am almost done the game, I am on the part where I play as Miku, and I just got the Mirror from that stand thing in the Library.

I got the mirror, then, when to the Engraving Shrine or whatever it is called. But when I go up to the stand to put the mirror in, it just says "This looks like a stand to put something like a plate, or a mirror. It says "Offer up the mirror etched with holly of loss" or something like that.

Kei, if I'm not mistaken, is the uncle of the two main characters of the second game, Amakura Mio and Mayu. Location also connects. In the Manor of Sleep, both Himuro Mansion, where Mafuyu died to stay and keep Kirie company, and Minakami Village, where Mio killed Mayu appear. So yes. Highly connected.

Woaah woah wait. Dont judge the game if you havent played it. The first and third one were not as great as the second one. Part 3 is ok, but Part 2 is the best out of the series. I have yet to play part 4 since it hasnt reach the states (yet, probably not even coming at all since the nintendo thing..) But try the game before you judge it. Its a GREAT game.

There is no easy way to just "connect your TV to a PC."

First off, most PCs don't even have a video in port. You need to find a capture card that is compatible with your hardware and OS first.

Second, you don't ever hook the TV into the PC. You either hook the console directly into the PC and play on screen, or split the signal and play on the TV.

Lastly, you need the correct software to capture and edit the video for upload. This quickly becomes complicated.
