I liked the movie, but they really needed to search for actors that portray the roles better for alot of the cast. The dude that played Puffy was nothing like him. Yes the guy didnt look ike 2pac, but did a fine job acting. The man seemed very intelligent, script must have been tough, can you imagine the pressure? Both guys did a fine job, if you didnt like the movie why are you watching this? R.I.P Pac and Biggie the best MC's of all time. Wish we knew who killed them, but we could find suddam hussain please! Dude may not have captured the full essence of Tupac, but this movie wasn't about Tupac, it was about Biggie, or even more so about the bullshit East Coast West Coast drama these devils orcestrated...Fuck all the little discripencies like what Pac or Biggie 'would have said, or done'...thats a distaction form the FACTS that we lost 2 major influences on Hip Hop and Black Youth because a third party had bigger intrests in thier lives by making sure they were taking out ....BOTTOM LINE!

It's good to see people taking the true essence of the movie and the relationship between these two Hip-Hop icons rather than comparing the actors to real artists.

I remember hearing stories that after he recorded music he'd ask radio DJ's that he'd be thinking of putting a single out and after hearing the whole record the DJ's would say to themselves that they didn't think there was even a single on any record. I'm from the West Coast and always thought there was better west coast rappers than him with more skill. The only time he ever show anytime of rhyming skill was on Digital Underground's "Same Song".

I hated this guy for his role in this movie, but Anthony Mackie actually is a great actor. Watch Hurt Locker. Tupac was just so unique and amazing that no one can ever pass as him in a movie or role, so it isnt this actor's fault.

i dont think anyone could capture Pac- and certainly noone from the burbs. you could feel biggie and pac in the film werent street- they were just so.......suburban!!!. Pac is one of the most charismatic men in pop culture in our times- itd take a rare man to play him. They didnt quite capture his wild joyous freedom- and also his grave thoughts. Tupac is everyman- and yet- like no man on earth.
