I went to The Gambia 2 years ago. Stayed at the Kombo Beach Hotel in Kotu - beautiful place and really lovely people.

chambaby, this is a great video. It makes me so proud. Lol, your lil daughter must be so adorable, making those baby noises behind the camera. I wished more people will post similar videos of places in the Gambia. You've done what CNN, ABC, NBC, FOX, BBC, or Sky woould never...never...never do about Africa. All they want the world to see and believe about Africa is so-called "AIDS" and "poverty". But with things like this, the same world will think twice!

The little child is my daughter. She was only 10 months old, and the voice is the one of Modou who explained a lot about the fact that many people are are very poor there, but some also outrageously rich. I miss the country so much...

I love the 'Wollof' documentary voice. He might not have meant it, but it's so nice he's talking and explaining.... just like a CNN or NBC documentary...and the lil kid also making some noise in the bacground. I love this!
