Yes. She had familial problems. She briefly tried a career in singing and modeling before attending beauty theraphy school. In July of 2005 Gillian opened her own beauty salon in her hometown of Kilmachthomas, Ireland.

She's from Kilmacthomas (Ireland).
She's a professional dancer but she quit dancing in 2001 :(
This was her last performance.
