I heard Team Silent, which was part of the Silent Hill series, was in on this too. I wouldn't doubt it from both of their survival/horror characteristics. I'm getting this game for sure, it's just sad how people never even heard of it.

I love SIREN: Blood Curse/New Translation, I have owned it for the past 2 years. Awesome stuff, and even SIREN 1 was great, just different. For example, there is a stronger focus on stealth and shibito are more of a threat. Fun and scary in it's own ways imo. I wish SIREN 2 came to the states :( Either that or we get more new games which hopefully will be soon for SIREN...

oh and actually one of the first silent hill games starts off with a part where they let you play but you have to die there and you don't know that till you struggle and die and then when you think you screwed up you just wake up in other place .. no weapons again !!! so how is that for a horror :D

@Seiferzed some of the folk at konami who's worked in the original silent hill for the ps1 have actually teamed up with sony and did the siren series especially siren1 beside i did played silent hill shattered memories and i already beats it like 11 times so far and trust me it's not scarry as this and you can't die SH SM is way too easy compered to this but still it's kinda little fun with the alien ending.

but silent hill shattered memories is actually easy! if you beat it once or two you will not going to get lost in the game again at least the old SH games have difficulity setting plus if you beat's one of the old SH games for the first time the game will change the location of the items you need in your next playthrough to be honest i beated SH SM with out even hiding from enemy's.

@fareedbakhit if you beat once or twice any game it will become much easier not only shattered memories , only the fact that you can't kill enemies makes it 10 times scarier and harder ,i had my muscles spasm while running away desperately from those creeps with the very last health left in the character lost the way and hoping for the run to end before i have a heart attack , making you powerless against enemies forces your psychology into fear ! now thats a difficult and terrifying game 2 play

@Seiferzed that's true but in SH SM your charecter can regenerate health over time if you don't get hugged by the enemys and actually older SH games gives you the option to kill enemy's or not and what ever you do it will effect your final rating at the end to me the only scarry part's in shattered memories was the part where you and dahlia get drowned in the SUV at the bridge and the one with the big face on the big projectile screen other than that i never got scared of other thing since then.

Siren all the friggin way!! Forbidden Siren 2 is the first game and only game that made me quit playing because my nerves just fell to the ground like a house of cards T_T Took me a couple of days to get back to it too. The Siren series is by far THE best survival-horror game ever conceived and unleashed upon the world. Amnesia doesn't have shit on this although I'm not dissing it because I did like it but the scary level of Amnesia just isn't over 9000 like the Siren games.

@killuminati7upac Actually the original developers of SH 1-3 went on to make the Siren series including this game. So you'll probably love it. Alot of similarites here and there.

I mean My niece and nephew were only 6 and 9 and they had fun playing RE5 because it wasn't scary. The last time I played a scary game was fatal frame and even that became a comedy to me. I'm still hoping that there will be another for the ps3 sys but untill then I'll be sticking with Siren. I feel like no one's saying anything about the Fatal Frame series here. I mean, don't get me wrong Siren has some really shit that made me jump a few times, but when it comes down to it the Fatal Frame series was pretty beast. the storyline was well thought out and the scares were well timed, it was one of those games that truly made scared to turn off the lights and go to bed. I'm not disin' Siren in any way shape or form, I just feel that Fatal Frame is a game that stays true to the horror.
