  • How long do u cook the chicken?

  • @sindee1983 you want to cook the chicken thouroughly i probably let mine cook for a good 45 minutes and another 15 to simmer in the broth.

  • This looks great! I have one question. I'm 7 months post op but I never measure (I know...very bad!), I just eyeball a small amount. I noticed you and bandedwendy put your food in 1 cup containers. Are those cup literally a measurement of 1 cup (8 oz)...because it looks like more. Or when you say 1 cup, do you just mean a small container. I'm just asking because I'm considering trying the whole cup thing out.

  • @SheSingsLovely Yes i actually use small containers.. The ones shown are actually 2 cup or 1.5 cup containers (i made 1 cup portions of refried beans at the same time which i eat for breakfast so i had to use larger ones for this video)... but I measure only 1 cup servings inside it It does help to measure and portion your food in advance it helps me to stay in my calorie budget too.
