I'm kind of missing the impact of songs like 19-2000, feel good inc, dare, clint eastwood, etc... This album just seems too quiet and toned down for a band lead by Murdoc.

@thegodlessatheist songs like feel good inc, dare,Dirty Harry glitter freeze and stylo are what gorillaz are known for because of their catchiness and upbeat tone.Plastic beach kind of toned down a bit and this album toned down considerably. This was an experiment and showed off more of Damon Albarn's musical talent then really showcasing who the Gorillaz are. No doubt The Fall is a magnificent album as well as Plastic Beach but as a hardcore Gorillaz fan I indeed do miss Demon Days' spunkiness.
