  • SEE THE SIGNAL OF THE N95 THE MIDLE

  • NICE ilove My phone N6680

  • Nokia N95 it's a phone...

    TomTom it's a navigator...

    Two completely different worlds...

  • I didn't understand this video. What this video about?

  • Of course it`s faster! 6680 has no built-in GPS and it`s using an external GPS, more powerful!

  • @KTA97 yeah but people dont get it

  • 6680 has no gps !! wtf ??

    fake

  • where did you got that application

    please give me the website

  • wtf why this old 6680 thing is faster ? xD

  • why would you install tomtom on an N95, which has its own builtin satnav?

  • It's very smooth on the 6680.

  • how do I install the tom tom on my phone nokia 6680?

    know someone tell me?

  • i have both 6680 and n95 8gig!! i cant it 4 ma 6680 bt its on my n95 n its nt workin propetly evan tho its a brand new mob i gt a few days ago!!

  • dos it work on 6300

  • You must buy gps bt and download maps with program ex. Garmin.

  • where do you have the n95 virtual phone not the n95 in that video tell me the download link

  • your stupid

  • You're stupid

  • you are a waste of oxygen, hang yourself before you annoy everyone else around you

  • hay were can u get the software for the gps on the n6680?

  • lol my former phone is working better than my current

    because of the gps receiver?

have to try gps on a nokia 3310

  • viva Nokia 6680!!!!!!

  • aun asi es mejor el Nokia 6680

  • I have both phones (6680 & N95-8Gb) and it work perfectly in both cells.

  • how do i install tom tom in my 6680?

  • the 6680 its working better LOL!!!!!!!!!

  • i have 6680!

  • i have nokia 6680 but i dont have the tomtom...

  • how many time you need to learn international metric system ? :-) how many years ?

  • N95 or N6680 gud ? which more gud ???

  • N95 is a better phone than the 6680 in every respect except TomTom performance and robustness (in my opinion).

  • whats the point of using it without the poi's , the pois are very usefull so why leave them off ..

  • garmin is alot better on the n95, it actually lets you use your n95's internal gps as with tomtom you still need to buy an external gps as it will not work. try garmin works well on my n95

  • that was a good cat and mouse race but try speeding the speed on ur demo settings please

  • gday,

i have tomtom running on my e65,when i use the demo, its very jerky, but when im actually out and about on the road,it runs very smooth, maybe its just jerky in demo mode?

  • Дурачки американские, или какие вы там ещё? На 6680 идёт лучше всего по причине аналогичного процессора как и на n95, но экран поменьше и разрешение меньше, следовательно для обработки изображения на экране требуется меньше ресурсов.

  • I agree that the poor performance of this version of TomTom on the N95 is partly due to the screen resolution being much higher than the 6680. However, if you look at some of the 3D games for the N95 I'm sure you'll agree that it is more than capable of running TomTom smoothly once the code is tailored for its hardware.

I hope that V7 (Navcore) is available for Symbian soon!

  • Hi

Please let us know, are you using external or internal GPS receiver with tomtom?

  • how can i make gps working on my phone... i have nokia 6120 classic

  • i just cant understand why the slow 6680 do better than the fast n95 Oo.

Maybe the program isnt working fine for n95.

  • how did you get it to work on the n95?

  • you could maybe deactivate 3d navigation to improve performances.

By the way TomTom is the best, on my n95 runs great! I personally believe it's the best navigation software.

    cheers

  • que wena lo cagaste al otro jajaja cool

    i want a n95 : )

  • i think the n95 lags a little during the tracking

  • I have a Nokia 6630, tomtom installed and it runs very well... My girlfriend have a Nokia N80, also with tomtom and it's also fast as the nokia 6680 in the image. I think the problem is where the program is installes, and if the card is fast or not. My tomtom only becomes slower if i install extra POI.

And by the way, to Nokia 6680 is tomtom v.5. To Nokia N80,N95 is tomtom V.6... wich make me think this is a stupid comparsion. They aren't comparing the same software, only the map...

  • I have also owned a 66380 and an N80 and have run TomTom on both. The 6630 gives the same performance as the 6680 which is what would be expected as the phones have the same guts.

I don't agree with you assesment of the N80's performance. I found it to be about the same as the N95

  • you make a good point about the software

  • warning any one who use tomtom6 for nokia n95 don't upgarde new version if you want use tomtom6 for nokia n95 it won't work

  • To: taano71.

Please be more specific with the versions that you are talking about. TomTom v6.020 (8300) works fine. As of 6 Nov 07 there is no newer version available for Symbian 60 3rd Edition.

  • hey what gps reciever did u use with the nokia 6680??

i installed tomtom to my device but i couldn't pair it with my navman gsp reciever

  • The model that I use is BT-74R. Plenty of sources on ebay and retail, just Google it. It still works extremely well but there are newer systems available.

I'm not familiar with any receiver other than this one so I can't comment on your problem with the Navman receiver.

  • ayt cheers for dat bro

  • Mathewrleech would you help me i have problem since i have upgrade new software version nokia N95 my tomtom6 SetNev stop working.

  • Matthew, I have a 6682 and would like the details of how you got the GPS input into the phone, as well as where the TomTom software for the Symbian OS can be obtained. Thanks.

  • The GPS input is via Bluetooth from an external receiver (plenty available on ebay).

The software can be bought from TomTom.

  • Thanks.

  • i have a 6680.where can i download tomtom?

  • The N73 running tomtom6 faces a similar problem (as on the middle phone) , even with all POI's disabled! :(

  • thanks for going to the effort of doing this! Gives us all a good idea of the situation! Cheers.

  • still looks a bit crap but the 6680 looks sikk :>

  • the phone on the left runs sooo smooth

  • That's my 6680. It's actually smoother than the TomTom One! (I've compared them).

  • huja sie znacie

  • Pardon?

  • But whilst you drive you dont look at gps all the time, do you?

  • That's correct, but when approaching junctions (especially roundabouts) it's useful to see the layout of what's ahead. The voice commands halt the map completely so the map ends up being way behind your actual position. I'm sure you appreciate how annoying a poor frame rate is and you're just playing Devil's Advocate...

  • cool

  • As you can see, N95 TomTom without any POIs loaded (on the right) runs far better than the version with speed camera POIs loaded (middle). However, the 6680 version with POIs gallore is still the best.

fyi, the POIs loaded on the 6680 are: airports, diy stores, entertainment, food & drink, petrol stations, banks, London underground stations, speed cameras, clothes shops, supermarkets, electronics shops, train stations.
