a-m-a-z-i-n-g left their homelands behind on the other side of the ocean most came with nothing but hopes & dreams they learned the language and loved the land appreciated the opportunity & respected the flag taught their children to be proud citizens NOW look at our "immigrants" scurrying across the border like roaches refuse to speak our language & disrespect the flag creating crime ridden communities akin to 3rd world nations ~be EXTRA proud to be descendants of the people in this film!!
My great grandfather came thru EI in January of 1906. This must have been what it was like for him, carrying all his posessions and heading for a new life in Chicago. It must have been scary, and a bit exciting too.
