  • @grapsl85

That I'd like to see! Let me know if it gets on youtube. :-D

  • This was on my birthday. :D

They did great. We're playing it this year.

  • we playing this for our christmas concert at Annapolis Highschool dearborn heights

  • Sorta, if the conductor taps the stand once, that means 123 was counted inside. So like in this song, at 0:34, there are nine quarters being played in the band, meaning 3 quarters for each 'tap' or 'conduct', so in all reality 3 measures are played, 3 taps, and 9 notes. If that makes sense. So like you said in 3/4 time, you count 1 2 3, the 1 on the next sequence gets the tap, so its 1 2 3, tap 2 3, tap 2 3, tap 2 3, So when it 'taps' thats counted in 1.

  • @FireClawofDuskClan It means, for every three counts, there is one movement. So instead of 1-2-3, it is counted like 1..2..3.. and so on. Also, every quarter gets the beat.

  • Percussion not together at the beggining. First clarinet sounds pinched. Piece should be conducted in 1, and I'm pretty sure there's no gong rolls written in at the end. However, good bottom to the sound, everybody played in tune.

  • Yea and I think some of the low brass made a blurting kind of noise around the middle.

  • Very beautiful... Our band played this for school.
