Back then, SEGA had the best studios EVER and no one appreciated it giving the needed support ($). Now we live in a "dark ages" of gaming, everyone look back to that awesome games we had and repent.

@Snayperskaya You are sooo right but that has always been the case with creative and unique games. The dumb masses will always go towards COD and the creative games such as shenmue, soa, jet set radio and the likes from the dreamcast daysare usually left ignored. When you buy a game, you are voting towards what you want to see in the future. I too was stupid in my gaming purchases and discovered these great classics only when it was too late. But we can still make a choice and save gaming

Hmm...I always felt this opening intro had a few similarities to the main theme in one of the Zelda games, though I can't figure out which one...regardless, this theme is awesome...WE NEED A SEQUEL, or at the VERY LEAST an HD remake...

Valkyria Chronicles is an awesome game yeah (and even more awesome with the inclusion of Vyse, Aika and Fina in the game), but Skies of Acadia needs some love too...

The best part of Skies of Arcadia is the music Yutaka Minobe & Takayuki Maeda Did an epic job composing the sound track for the game every song fits it's part in the game perfectly. not since skies has a game done that or done it as well as skies imo

@fman40000 Yep Windwaker was similar in the feeling of open space and adventure. Actually windwaker might be the only game that matched Skies Feeling of Adventure. Love it.

definitely the best game ever. people may think otherwise but the story is just amazing. when you play you forget about the graphics which makes this game the best. PLEASE LET THERE BE A SEQUAL!!

i love this fucking game. The feeling you get is incredebile, its so epic. All the guys who didn't play it and think FF is a nice roleplay .. Try SoA, i love it, played it several times and always thought that i'd be a sky pirate too... one day..

FF and Skies are definatly tied in terms of epicness. Though only certain FF games are as good as Skies of Arcadia. FF7, FF10, and VsXIII are probably going to be the only games that will ever be as good as Skies of Arcadia. Though Skies of Arcadia will always beat each and every single FF game in terms of uniqueness.

When I first saw this opening, I was amazed at everything...the look of the game, the music, the colorful characters...Skies of Arcadia (Legends for me) is one of the best games in history, in my opinion.
