While I am corruptible, Christ's sacrifice allows me to put on the incorruptible. I think of 1 Cor 15:50-57. While I am inglorious as corruptible flesh, one day I will become a joint heir in the Glory of God (Rom. 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.)

What??? Are we really singing a worship song about ourselves? Wow! We certainly are purposeful creations of God but we are also full of a sin nature and have tarnished what was a glorious creation with our selfish ways.

John 17:22 (I believe) has Jesus praying about you (future believers) saying that "I have given them (you) the glory that you (God) gave me that they may be one as you (God) and I (Jesus) are one." I just recently started believing in god due to my friends. im 17 years old and i have cancer. my friends had their whole church pray for me during my surgery last year, and i pulled through. having open heart surgery, and coming out of it to all my friends and family waiting there to greet me, makes me really think that someone is out there looking out for me, it makes me think that if i believed sooner that it never would have happened. thank you DCB and thank you lord.

I know the comment is like 2 weeks old but in the Bible it talks about how we as Christians, better yet we as people are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13 & 14) and an adjective for glorious is wonderful. And in Galations 3:26 it tells us that we are all sons of God (sons meaning people in general) and in Galations 4:7 it says we are an heir of God through Christ. We were created glorious, to praise our Father who made us. Sin does separate everyone from God, but that's the reason Jesus died for us, to bring us closer to God by covering our sins. So yes, David Crowder and all of us Christians struggle with sin, but through the grace of God and the love and sacrifice of His son Jesus, we are made glorious THROUGH HIM.

I just recently started believing in god due to my friends. im 17 years old and i have cancer. my friends had their whole church pray for me during my surgery last year, and i pulled through. having open heart surgery, and coming out of it to all my friends and family waiting there to greet me, makes me really think that someone is out there looking out for me, it makes me think that if i believed sooner that it never would have happened. thank you DCB and thank you lord.

I know the comment is like 2 weeks old but in the Bible it talks about how we as Christians, better yet we as people are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13 & 14) and an adjective for glorious is wonderful. And in Galations 3:26 it tells us that we are all sons of God (sons meaning people in general) and in Galations 4:7 it says we are an heir of God through Christ. So we (all of mankind) are His or have the opportunity to be His and we are wonderfully (gloriously) made. Thank you :)

Well, think of it like this SCSucks... As a Christian, I have someone to back me up when I die and I am being judged... I will certainly have someone there to back me up in spite of all the wrong doings we do in our lives. So, despite you trying to say he is BLASPHEMOUS for worshipping God, he still has someone to back him up when he dies...

We were created glorious, to praise our Father who made us. Sin does separate everyone from God, but that's the reason Jesus died for us, to bring us closer to God by covering our sins. So yes, David Crowder and all of us Christians struggle with sin, but through the grace of God and the love and sacrifice of His son Jesus, we are made glorious THROUGH HIM.

Listen we are both men of strong faith, even though they may be different, so im just doing this because i enjoy arguing and religious debates, as im sure you all agree it strengthens our beleif and makes us ask the right questions.
but what i ask is, how is christ dying on a cross showing us love, when he could show us love by helping those innocent suffer.

God does help people. And you completely dismissed that WE cause suffering. Man causes it not God. And you don't realize that God uses that suffering as a means to save people.

Let me put it this way - without Jesus, NOBODY goes to heaven. Nobody. Not Moses, not anyone. There HAD to be an atonement. Had to be. God is Just and a Just judge must deal with sin, sin cannot enter God's presence.
That's why Romans 5:8 says "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
Then see Romans 3:25 "God presented Jesus as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice"

i just beleive that if there is a heaven, good people should go into it, and that means every good person no matter what religion. I hate to think of good people such as the dalai lama burning in hell, even though he is a good man and has helped so many.
