@digifreak10101 I know you already did this :P Before I started mine, I searched Youtube to see if anyone else did it, but for some reason, yours didn't show up until after I started posting. There are things that I like about yours, like how it cuts between scenes to give a real time feel. But the transitions aren't very smooth, namely that the music cuts off abruptly. My priority was to make it feel like a unified game, rather than a movie.
@digifreak10101 I think both of our videos have their strengths, and it was interesting seeing your take on the order of events as opposed to mine, but naturally, I think mine is better and more accurate overall.
That said, I think we both botched this part up a bit. There are so many ways of interpreting this scene, but we most likely both missed the mark. In hindsight, it was probably somewhere in between our interpretations, and I may re-do this part because of it.
@iwantedtoexplode Haha, I was just playin'. I wasn't going for EXACT chronology, that would be impossible with split screen, and I generally don't like split screen. My only regret is that I forgot Roxas' last scene :P I may re-upload that. I know the music is difficult. I tried my best to cross-fade it where I could. I usually didn't cut scenes that have background music unless the track was a more subtle score. I was mainly trying to get rid of some of the fade outs since it slows the pace.

@digifreak10101 It really isn't a criticism of your editing skills; you did pretty well, considering the hand you were dealt and what you tried to do with it, but sometimes it's VERY hard to make a seamless transition without letting it fade out.
And thanks, I'm glad I handled that scene the way I did, but I'm not sure if it's totally accurate. Most likely, Ven's battle began when the X-blade was knocked into the air, and it went "haywire" because the two hearts were clashing. But who knows? XD

I can't say I watched all of your videos (just some of the more important parts to see what you did differently), but the ones that stood out in my head were in the first few, like when it transitions between the three of them on Land of Departure when the bell rings. A big one though is in part 13 when it switches from Radiant Garden to a flashback. It was a cool transition, but a bit of a mood killer.
I just understood what the correct chronology is! At 7:00 before Vens boss battle Vanitas says "Our union *WAS* not finished". Then he says "The X-blade shouldn't stay broken like this. Join me now and we can complete the X-blade!"
I get it now. He says "was" (past tense) as though that's the reason he lost to Aqua. Because they weren't finished. He then tells Ven to join him so the X-blade will become whole (after Aqua broke it) and he can complete Xehanorts plan!

I actually really like what you did here with the cuts between Ven and Aqua's scenes. I'm actually thinking I should have done it that way.
