  • brilliant video some very interesting points

  • Fluoride-ridden America would be so behind without Asians like you.

  • Tidusxtidus:

If you want to integrate from 0 instead of -pi you can go from 0 to 2pi, the path of integration is the same, which is a full period of the cosine/sine function.

  • laisse moi trankil, moi aussi j'ai des problèmes

  • i don't want to study any more

  • ELECTRIFYING.

  • HE MAKES IT SO INTENSE

  • 6:00 - 6:07 - Mind Blown

  • Ladies and gentlment lol I like this guy

  • great ....liked

  • hey who uploaded this fast forward version?? where is the normal version???

  • my god did he drink lots of redbulls before this lecture... should have done the same lol...

  • Hey dony, what if your limits are not from -pi to pi?The integral of sin and cos between -pi to pi goes to zero because its an integral across a full period. Lets say now I need the boundaries to be 0 to some arbitrary x. Is there a more general formula for this?

  • Well done!! Not only helps me to understand Fourier Series, but also helps me found back the enthusiasm of maths. P.S. You sounds like a Singaporean.

  • I understand so much more now! Thank you. You are a little fast though, but I can always pause and rewind so its fine.

  • ive never seen an Asian on cocaine

  • well done...

  • This guy is excited like he just got LAIDD

  • He's actually really good!

  • F**king incredible. This guy is getting through to me where so many others did not!

  • *brain explodes*

  • he is rather handsome

  • he is rather handsome

  • I followed him up until he did some steps in his head that he didn't write down and lost me, then commenced to say, "And, was that easy enough--well, that's quite easy--I hope you enjoyed it--so..." I don't think he understands his audience very well.

  • @justonium actually... that step, if you are referring to 4:15 seconds into video, was easy lol. he just saw that integral from -pi to pi, of a-sub-zero times dx is just a-sub-zero times 2pi .. he moved the 2 pi to other side of equation becoming 1/2pi

  • @carolajoyce Yeah, I know, I figured it out right after I posted that. I actually managed to follow the rest of the video too! And I've never known how to compute Fourier Series before.

  • What does he do when He makes a minor mistake and whole answer comes out wrong. -__-

*Takes out his Katana , shred everything to pieces and fed it to the piranhas"

THATS HOW HYPER THIS GUY IS :P

  • The title should be "The wonders of Ritalin"

  • Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

  • omg i can't finish watching this.

  • is this a speed course in fourier series?

  • He is the Bruce Lee of mathematics.

  • Comment removed

  • this guy smokes maths exam papers!

  • Haa this guy is mint, hes got the Maths Orgy!

  • How you going to start the video with stuff already on the board

  • isn't this guy over excited about fourier series??

  • so u think by presenting such complex stuff this way ppl will actually understand and get to like fourier analyses? you're talking wayy too fast, not taking your time, leaving the student behind and the video/sound is awful. I'm a third yr MEng undergrad, I already know fourier series but i stopped the video half way through cos if i didnt, i'd be a very very determined person to continue. u seem to know ur stuff, jst nt very good at delivering it on video

  • i think he ate a bag of sugar before he filmed this

  • I liked your style. Keep up the good word in the way like dude. Nice explanation.

  • you are good

  • I wonder if my laptop will explode if i turn on "transcribe audio" .. lets try.

I properly laughed when I realised that for a good 4 minutes of this video, he was just proving how to get a(n) and b(n) lol. I had no idea what he was doing

  • I don't undestand why @ 2:50 he assumes that f(x) equals the fourier series, but @ 9:52 he states that the fourier series does not equals f(x). I'm confused. It seems that his whole development of ideas was based on the first assumption.

  • This guy is extra hype.

crunch time before my signals and systems exam.

    thanks man.

  • I quit!

  • many thanks..

Any chance you could upload a few tutorials dealing with the heat equation with fourier series solutions? (and maybe strum louville solutions also!?)

  • he explains things soo well!!

  • 26 people must not like math at all. This guy is awesomeee!!!!

  • Fourier and Laplace...The endless nightmare for a student.

  • yOu're great!! =D

  • superb explanation all tat what we need is concentration just concentrate you will understand

frends one more advise is keep watching this type of videos which helps you in building confidence abt subject

anyone who listens this will never forget derivation of fourier coefficients hats-off to donny lee

  • what do u eat..... i want 2 eat same thing..... so that i can be fast as u....

plz telll me ur web page.....thanx...

  • Good, but way to fast

  • 2:03

    holy shit.

  • 9:58am Friday (CST) - Time in M

  • after watching this I got nightmares of collapsing sums, pi must be an evil number

  • whoa!whoa!slow down man

  • Can you please come down so that i can follow you a bit because you are too fast. This is a disco maths and is even difficult to dance.

  • I RAF I RUSE ?

  • where are you from? come my house to teach me~ XDDD

  • he is Rapping, entitled the Fourier Series! Break it down yow!

  • @ronalddlelariarte LOOOOOL

  • dammit, I need some energy drink to keep up with this guy :D

  • @MarianMatejdes only way we can follow this sped-up video would be to download to our ipod and use their 'playback at slow speed' option !! :P which i am proceeding to do now...

  • @carolajoyce I fully agree, that helped me too :)

  • at 4:57 the whiteboard suddenly changes! didn't anyone notice this?

  • @MarianMatejdes I recommend four loko with some .... bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips bacon strips ....

  • You just saved my midterm.

  • dis guy is taking dem steroids

  • Asian lady Travel around the world busizz4me.info

  • Dude, you're very excited. That's great. But you may be going too fast for someone who first discovers Fourier Analysis...!!

  • English is my native language, but I'm going to have to play this video at half the speed xD

  • thanks!!! please speek a bit slower.. but its very clear ... thanks again

  • Omg this guy is.. taking the qualities of an excited dog. Imagine u throw a ball, and the dog will run without hesitation and brings the ball back to u with its tail wagging, wanting for more.

  • i just put all these videos into super slow motion and i understood everything.

    thanks

  • thiszzz crazy O_O is he even breathing??

  • hahahahaahahahaha jesus christ!

  • take a deep breath dude:=) haha

  • When I check my litterature, it says a0/2. But in your video you say its just a0. Why is that?

  • Thank you very much sir,

you have helped me a lot in understanding the fourier series.

you are the best match teacher

    again thank you

  • i cant keep up with this guy ..... lool

  • Haha this guy is awesome la. He's so excited about math that he makes me feel ashamed of myself hahaha...

  • @corporatemanthras awesome la? frm sg?

  • Holy shit he is hyped. It's a real pity, because I am sure I could learn something, but he just looses me a minute in with that insane tempo :(

  • WHAT A fantastic video!!! brilliant!!!

  • where did the 1/2pi come from??

  • calm your balls!!!!!

  • When you need Fourier series explained in a little over 10 minutes, donylee is the fucking man. Keep up the good work!

  • Thank you sir, your video really helped me to understand fourier series better.

  • hi man you are driving sssssssoooooo fast aren't their speed limit in maths ?

  • Love the enthusiasm, i was sitting at the edge of my seat through the whole lecture.

  • What da!!! I just learned I'm a very slow learner.

  • Excellent. Thank you

  • Comment removed

  • Believe it or not, this is a little hyper, but a good explanation. One of the better ones.

  • too fast dude.... but thanx

  • sorry but i understand absolutely nothing. I mean ur teaching dammit, SLOW DOWN! Even the best students would be lost with this :S

  • You're Kung-Fu of Math! What a intensity and passion included with deep knowledge about analysis. Very good videos. I recorded them and watched in slow motion, like a "downgraded" to my sense of time.

  • im singaporean and i still cant understand what the hell youre talking about

  • All these losers telling him to calm down. There's nothing wrong with being excited about something in life. You don't always have to approach these difficult things from a defeated standpoint.

  • @mkeeeee There is something to be said for speaking slowly and clearly.

  • Come on fellas. Be easy on him. He is excited to be on YouTube. However, I agree. It sounds like he is cooking Fourier Chopsuey

  • Thanks Dony. My other instructor was putting me to sleep.

  • this is one of the most exciting tutorial I have ever scene. I wanted to watch slower people but they were so damn boring.

had to watch it a few times. in a video like this if you blink you miss a few things. ha ha ha ha

  • calm down a bit...

  • thanks dude you continue to inspire me 2 continue maths

  • WHAT THE !!

  • SLOW THE HELL DOWN

  • You are the man, mathematics with you can be very enjoyable and understandable

  • wow i wish you were my prof...this makes a lot more sense now lol thank you =))

  • haha wtf??? is he teaching or is he showing us how fast he can speak english.. :p haha dude slow down u r teachin not rapin :D

  • bwiset!

  • jesus, I would hate to be his student. I know your limited on time but damn, make it into 2-3 vids instead of flying through.. This guy made me more lost than I first started..

  • @poweredbylexus

Then don't watch if you can't understand.

  • why can't all teachers be like this, explain one complex idea in 10 minutes!!

  • You seem like an Asian Chris Tucker... yeah, that's right! An Asian Chris Tucker... very good explanations.

  • bro u know ur stuff n all but u speak wayy to fast!

  • this guy is hilarious

  • hey buddy, why don't you go a lil faster....geeeeez!!!

  • hey mate, great video, concise and detailed. However slow down a little bit : ) good job!

  • plz take ur time and plz dont jumps steps

  • well u would be a good lecturer if u please takeur time

  • Comment removed

  • smart guy, poor teacher

  • i actually think faster than he speaks, so i personally like it, it wouldn't work well in a class though, omg, that's so funny, "remember! with respect to X!" 5:38

  • drink less coffee bro =)

this could as well be the determinion how to count in speed of light.

  • talk to fast ..sloow downn

  • @GazaFuhLife That's true =S

  • Fourier Series has been karate chopped!

  • this guy just p'wned the shiit out of Fourier in 10 minutes...damn i applaud you sir

  • dude, slow down.................i like this vid!

  • wow..i like the way you talk..

  • i like it..

  • wow. 0.0 he's fast.

    Your too funny Specter :-)

You mean the Jackie Chan of mathematics? :-)

He is more current than Bruce Lee :-) LoL

  • nah, Jackie Chan is all doughy- this guy is slimand lightning quick, like a photon on steroids.

  • This is really well taught, just a tad too fast, but his speed stimulates my brain into learning faster ;o)

  • This guy is incredible!

  • too fast

  • geniuss! thank god it wasn't some indian lame dude..

  • Superspeed math! Yeah!

    Lol.. :)

  • sum of b sin mx Dude try canceling your accent i dont understand a thing

  • Great video!

  • Nice. Keep up the speed and energy!

  • good job

I've just refreshed my memory in a 7 min lecture

and to the others who complain about the speed

what would you do if he explains fast Fourier transform

    Just joking :)

  • good job man

  • u could have done it slowly...

  • good job man, thanks

  • Is he catching for plane or rocket!! F***

  • Hahahahahaha. That was freaking awesome, I forgot completely about fourier theory and just enjoyed the show.

  • lol is he on drugs?

  • hay, I like it.

  • u really look nice... its just that u preach very fast....

  • what is the Fourier series of f(x)=.5*r/sqrt(c)/acos(3x)^3/(n^3-n^2+2/n)^(4-l)*dirac(4-t)+1?

  • this guy seems too happy when he teaches..

  • Sir, You are too fast to understand!!!!

  • You were fast but u were awesome.. Loved it, totally! :)

    Thank you very much!

  • thanks a lot man i had a test of this today and you help me a lot, i am coursing 2nd year of engineering and i find your videos very helpfull keep it up!!

  • take it easy on the caffeine, dude,, eheh

  • nice thanks a lot for the info

  • haha you're very excited about Fourier series. You should probably slow down so people understand/follow you easier.
