Well, Crysis 2 is a blast. Some say it's dummed down I call it streamlined. Now I do however miss alot the phasing of the original in both mp and sp. Hope We'll see Crytek finding the best of both worlds in more open map design as well as in top notch action.

I pressed thumbs up when you talked about the sandbox gameplay and powermodes, is so weird to see professional game reviewers stating that this game was about graphics, those c#$ksucking as#%oles. the power modes gameplay and sandboxstyle are unique and set this waaaay apart from almost everything else. only programming the AI for a sandbox is totally different task. very nice review

Actually it isn't a one hit kill with strength mode. Yeah the weapons are weak, but I manage headshots all the time, they're plenty accurate.

Your second point is conflicting. You're comparing the suit to the game's programming. Warhead the guns are more powerful, Crysis they are kind of weak, but they're still useable.

Crysis' story is better, has less action, but not much. Warhead is much more action packed, but shorter.

Out of those, I'd suggest Orange Box, just becasue every game in it is phenominal, and TF2 just got another class update.

Don't know about Gears on PC. I wouldn't expect many people to be playing it though.

i was sniping with an ak in crysis and i was pretty far off but i hit the same guy 25 times before finally getting a head shoy. i mean it does says that silencers take away damage but reducing it to the power of an airsoft gun is retarded.

You do realize that: 1. shooting a guy anywhere but the head will do decreased damage

2. shooting at long ranges will do decreased damage

3. shooting with a supressor will do decreased damage and

4. firing at extreme long ranges will not be pinpoint accurate, so you are bound to and did miss, as i know for fact it does not "25" rounds to kill an enemy.

Not to mention you weren't even using the sniper rifle.

the suits take the attention off, and in the end, the weapon suck so hard that u will have to use the suit, liking or not, and dont even make sense that technology with those weapons...

There are plenty of action sequences in Crysis, I fought way more than 12 enemies. I fought dozens in certain bases alone.

The suit takes the attention off what? And how do the weapons' power force you to use the suit? The whole point of the suit is that you choose how you want to play the game.

Anyways Crysis is longer and you'll understand more of what's going on, Warhead is better optimized so you'll be able to play it on higher settings and is more action packed than the first.

Nice little review, stumbled across it. It's rather scary to see the amount of people that can't use google or even wikipedia to get answers to their questions.

Anyway, the game is well worth the buy, I know some people won't like the MP but it's very fun and rather deep too, you can always get better at it and there's new patches released for it all the time. Crytek has done a really good job supporting the game so far, and there is a patch coming for the SP too. Best $30 Ive ever spent :D

Surprisingly online runs smoother than single player for me, I found that quite odd that it did.

There are ranks, but a far as I can tell there's no effect they have on gameplay.
