Ms. Winehouse's performances live, are different, yes. I've always thought that the live versions were quite good, until I saw this...she seems wasted!

I really like Amy Winehouse's music on the album, but when she is performing live she just sounds terrible. She has no energy onstage and is just slurring all of the words.

You just haven't seen the right concerts then. If you watch the early US promotions in 2007, then you will see a whole new side. Also, look around for some acoustic versions/small shows. I believe she uses drugs and alcohol to calm her nerves, which is why her big festival appearances aren't quite as good. Further, any performance corresponding to her Frank album is amazing.
