  • I read somewhere that Connie had a very sad, unhappy childhood due to abuse, but thank God she had the stamina to overcome her circumstances and become one of country's greatest singers. Bless her soul!

  • i really like this by connie but i still beleive the VERY VERY BEST was done by none other than the GREAT JACK GREENE.Bill Anderson also did it but my opinion was he shouldn.t have wasted his time.

  • I remember them playing this over and over again on KVET in Austin several years ago. Great song and interesting town on that River--home to Kroger, Proctor & Gamble, the Reds, WKRP, etc.

  • @Tioman88 Heh. Cincinnati *is* a bit bland isn't it, being surrounded by action but receiving none for itself. Still, loads of people live here. OH! We do have King's Island nearby. A-and Cincinnati Zoo. That's um... two things, so far... not really, uh, stuff that would lure in visitors though... ._. We don't even get an accent like everyone else. You guys are so lucky, with your fancy accents and your... -chokes up- tourists! In all seriousness though, I do like living here
