Check this out....92 Wrangler that never off roads was on the freeway when Jessica felt a vibration in the left rear axle. 5 seconds later the axle broke right at the bearing and the wheel came off. She did some 180's and ended up on the side of the freeway. The wheel bearing failed and heated up the axle. Chrysler designers....get stuffed!
It's "Rock crawling" not " Rock running". Another bit of advice, don't let the jeep BOUNCE. Guess it's hindsight now. 8.8w/ disc or a D44 swap is your next bet, S35 probably isn't worth it for you.
wow, thank you so much for the awesome insight. As you can see in the video, i didnt bounce it intentionally. i couldnt see anything and i was relying on my spotter to point out where i was. BUT, it seemed to have slipped his mind to give me the heads up.

almost every dana 35 failure I have seen is from axle hop with 33's or above.

I have since installed an 8.8 from a 01 Exploder.
