@skykalebh99 finding inspiration is hard, all artists run into that problem, what helps me is just to do the things i like, sometimes when i watch a movie, read a comic, play final fantasy a random idea will come into my head. Try keeping a journal with you at all times. The mind goes through millions of ideas each day, if you record some concepts you might have more than you think, but dont wait till later because then you'll forget :P

And be consistent!!! People ask me to sub all the time and they have like 5 videos and upload every month or so -__-. Waste of a sub space much? lmfao.

I found micron pigma through Mark years ago and today my dad is buying me a set of 6 black colors, well 2 sets! I love to use Micron but I did use .8 b/c Mark did and I kinda liked it but since I am getting a whole 2 sets I can try out each pen and see which I like the most. This is definitely my favorite tutorial :)

Just the other day I was thinking "Hmm I should buy a intuos tablet like Idrawgirls!!! if HE can use it, then I SHOULD use it too"... the only problem with that is that he's a pro with decades of experience ROFLMAO. Went to the Utrecht Art store today and bought those "Prismacolor Verithin black & white colored pencils" I was only able to buy 2 white cause thats all they had for the white color ones so I just bought 2 whites and 2 blacks but imma go back for more soon. there 89 cent a piece. :)

I will hopefully buy the Prismacolor Cool Grey colored Markers 12 set soon also.

@J1988A Awesome man. They have french and warm grey sets too. I personally went with cool grey. When I buy the verithins it's like 60 cents around my way so I buy like 5 or 6 at one time Lol. BTW, buy some really sharp sharpeners... those pencils are delicate as hell. The sharpeners dont have to be expensive... (I bought the cheap 6 for 1 dollar set at the 99 cent store. So I bought like 5 packs to save)... as long as the blade is sharp and will last a while

I have a question.. I have a "Utrecht" art store where I live at and was wondering if you know if they sell those black & white color PrismaColor pencils for the reflection lighting, shading, detail lining and darker shading you were showing in this video? You said they are 60 cent a piece.. I looked up the pencils on the website to this store and it doesn't seem to show on the web. :/

@J1988A The Prismacolor Verithin Colored pencils (The harder lead one) are 60 cents... the Prismacolor Premier colored pencils are like 1 dollar and 25 something (I'm guessing but it's more than a dollar for one)... these are the softer core...

Yeah I checked the website they have it. I guess the store itself will have them individually also

nice vid :) I got the 24 pack of Vereithin and I got the complete set of the soft core colored pencils. heres a tip draw with the soft core and Verithin by holding the pencil very close to the point and hold it straight up and color in a small circular motion. It makes it turn out a lot better than coloring quick :)

@shinyspartan Did you know that if you color something with color pencils first it will stop the marker from seeping through the paper. I don't see why you would need to know this, there's already so many colors on your desk.

@shadowstar1286 That's interesting. I didn't know that. Normally I wouldn't use the markers over the colored pencils because the markers melt the pencils, creating a smuding effect that I don't always want. Sometimes it looks nice though :D

prismacolor has great markers i prefer copic sketch markers because the brush point is really handy and they have just about every possible color as does prismacolor the just a little more expensive
