Its not a fact you typing its a fact doesnt make it true. the man who invented the internet (packet switching) was a welshman named Donald Davies. this idea was picked up by a gentleman who worked for US defence at MIT who took it further than that but he only recieved the idea from Davies when Davies visited MIT and discussed it. US arent really known for inventions in the grand scheme of things and it makes perfect sense as the US has an extremely short history of just 2 centuries.
