  • "Where did 'Leeroy' come from?"

  • Keith is the master of deadpan. Just standing there leaning on the water cooler. AND NOT A SINGLE FUCK WAS GIVEN THAT DAY.

  • The best part is when he takes out his frustration on poor Keith!

  • At least start on him!

  • fatty fatty four eyes

  • strangely cathartic

  • @futurez12 dont get your panties in a bunch! Who gives a flyin' fuhk if I don't like this version?

  • @AztecQueen619 i can't watch your version because the accents remind me of The Bourne Identity, Rocky III, The Mummy Returns, Liar Liar, Fast And Furious, Alien Vs. Predetor, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Matrix Revolutions, Leaving Las Vegas and just about every other movie made in America ever.

  • The accent kind of ruined it for me... >_< listening to them talk reminds me of the Harry Potter movies. I prefer the American version :)

  • @AztecQueen619 I can't watch your version coz the accent reminds me of 'The Wizard of Oz.'.Oh, and because it's shit.

  • @AztecQueen619 yeah same for me, today when i was at work, there were so many English people, i thought i was in a Harry Potter film...

  • @AztecQueen619 Well then that's your small-mindedness, and not a comment on the quality of the programme.

  • "Where does Leroy come from?!?"

  • Best Sitcom Of All Time

  • Lol i told my business teaches that You Have To Be Thick Skinned In Business.... his first response "What are you DAVID BRENT?"

  • Mr Toad,lol.

  • lmao bluto

  • priceless how Gareth says 'Daviiiiiiiiiiid' ahahahahah

  • I'M NOT GONNA BE WEARING THE SHOES!!!!

  • when they say can't it sounds like cunt

  • The employees are such assholes, Brent is obnoxious and annoying, but he doesn't deserve half the crap he gets.

  • karl pilkington

  • "a lot of people are laughing about the heels on your shoes..."

  • The world wide web and internet were developed by many different nationalities. The USSR intiated it then a Polish man took it further then a few americans took it further then an british man developed the hypertext idea that we all use today and you see on this webpage. Please lets stop this country vs country thing all countries have good points and all bad none have a hierachy over the other.

  • @MrBlackoralive The internet was invented in America under the name of "ARPANET".

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 How so? It's a fact that the internet was both funded and invented by the American Department of Defense.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 How old are you exactly? You sound like you're about twelve.

  • Comment removed

  • Its not a fact you typing its a fact doesnt make it true. the man who invented the internet (packet switching) was a welshman named Donald Davies. this idea was picked up by a gentleman who worked for US defence at MIT who took it further than that but he only recieved the idea from Davies when Davies visited MIT and discussed it. US arent really known for inventions in the grand scheme of things and it makes perfect sense as the US has an extremely short history of just 2 centuries.

  • @Gman308877 i was simply stating that no one country can take claim. as the piece of land it happened on doesnt matter, its the different people and their minds that brought it too fruitition and without all of these people from these countries, we wouldnt have the internet we have today or any internet at all most likely. The USSR space programme started the interest and idea of the internet then was picked up by an american then taken further by a pole then hyperlinked by a english man.

  • @MrBlackoralive I think a countrys culture and sense of humour can cause impact on what TV they make - so they can take pride in something special coming from their country i.e. The Office from the UK. .

  • god why does everything devolve into stupid UK vs UK jesus you guys are pathetic

  • Can't you all just shut your filthy mouths about this country and that and immigrants and all this STUPID CHILDISH NONSENSE! Come on, man... People could use a little more peace than they're given nowadays.

  • "Nicknames are bad......names."

  • @andywatson932 ..yea?

  • Original and the best! So funny...My favourite comedy series.

  • I don't like the british version, I can barely understand them.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrFlibble2011 What's your problem mr. defensive?

  • Comment removed

  • @indiag89 haha! wooow.

  • Never done a comment like this before soo.. *cough* The 6 people who disliked this must be fat and ugly like a toad. Thanks for reading, I'm here all week.

  • I didn't want you here, but you're here now, so... well done, welcome.

  • Fatty fatty toad boy!

  • Why does one have to great and one has to be rubbish? - can't we just all agree on saying that they are both brilliant comedies?

  • @jacktalbot Nah, they're not both brilliant. The US Office is good, and worth the 30 minutes on a Friday morning, but the original is brilliant.

  • @Donnel5 fair enough lol I do tend to agree on that

  • @jacktalbot

Ricky Gervais plays his alter ego David Brent,

Steve Carell acts the alter ego of David Brent.

Ive been watching TV since I can remember. You could say TV me raised me.

The BBC version is one of the favorite shows I have ever watched and they're only a tiny few I would say that about.

I wouldn't even look at the U.S. version as it will never come close to the BBC's version. Its very bad.

While I disagree with Ricky Gervais on some issues. He is created a TV masterpiece.

  • @jacktalbot so which one is bad?

  • @TDWPfanZA I prefer the UK one

  • @jacktalbot why

  • @TDWPfanZA its just my preference, it dosent need justifying

  • @jacktalbot ok

  • @jacktalbot nope, the uk version is best the question is the us show better than all the other remakes?

  • @jacktalbot no because the US version is shit and forced comedy

  • @jacktalbot Or indeed that the original appeals to the intended British audience and the US remake to its intended American audience? Quite right.

  • and he's got G-lasses :)

  • really kinda pathetic when people feel the need to insult a different version of the same show, which Merchant and Gervais are executive producers on, just to get some attention, like a fucking immature little maggot. Grow up, they're both great shows, neither are stupider or more poorly written than the other.

  • "Leeroy!"

  • MR toad!

  • earing???

  • @MrGluey666 ear ring!!!

  • @nailedurmum01 why don't you stop talking shit on america? If you actually went to school, you would learn that every war we fought with you, we won. so enough with the " wit and intelligence" shit. You dont wanna be messing with our "ghetto projects gangs." do ya? if you really wanted to get into the stereotyping game, i could say that Brits have ugly yellow teeth My opinion is that I like U.S. The Office better. But I praise U.K.s because its the original. don't judge other people's opinions

  • I think this clip might push me towards being a UK office fan...never thought it would happen

  • wow people it's a good thing you have OPINIONS but remember that different countries have different senses of humor :) just cause you don't get it doesnt mean it's not good

  • theres nothing worse than arrogant english people slating anything that isint english simply because they have poor taste and have probably half watched one episode.

Im english and i love both, the office us has episodes which are just as good as the uk version, i wish everyone would stop being so ignorant

  • @postmasterw00t I watched an entire series of the US office, purely because someone like you told me to watch it before I slagged it off. It was tripe. Didn't laugh once.

  • @TheRandyChimp

its not my fault you have poor taste, which season did you watch? the first season aint up to scratch

  • @postmasterw00t How do I have poor taste for finding an original series funny, and it's subsiquent remake unfortunately tedious? That makes no sense. Would I have poor taste for liking the 1960's "The Haunting" (a classic horror film) but disliking the 1990's remake?

It's a cashcow, no more, no less. Even Gervais say's so. Dispute him all you want, he's the executive producer, and therefore a little more involved than you!

  • @TheRandyChimp

but both haunting films suck your just confirming the poor taste, horror films in general suck.

gervais is joking when he says the us version is just a cash cow, cant you tell hes messing? i would suspect his honest opinion is that its pretty good.

i diddnt like the office us at first, you have to let it grow on you, you seem like one of those people who wants to dislike something so finds reasons to dislike it.

  • @postmasterw00t Quite the opposite actually. I go to see films I think I'll hate and end up loving them. The original haunting IS a classic. Horror movies in general don't suck, what a peculiar and ill-informed thing to say. So much for letting things grow on you, eh? People in glass houses mate!

Also, stop being a dick. I don't like something you like, that means I have poor taste? What a retarded opinion of a human being. It's called an opinion, get used to it, everyone has one!

  • @postmasterw00t Let's just stop this while we can, okay? I didn't think this would turn into a long thing, I wasn't judging you as a person, I was merely replying to a comment you made with an alternate view on the subject. At no point did I want to argue about whether or not I have a right to an opinion or whether or not I have poor taste in comedy.

  • @TheRandyChimp

i was just fucking with you, have a lovely life

  • @postmasterw00t I only let girls fuck with me. Bad postmasterw00t!

  • the us version is still a very good show, not as good as the uk version (which is in my opinion the best tv comedy series ever made), but still very good

  • @COOLZxTV This was made way before the US version. So....

  • WHY DONT WE HIM FATTY FATTY TOAD BOY...... haha

  • Nicknames are... bad names.

  • The US version was good for the first three seasons.... Now it sucks Pam is a bitch and Pam and Jim basically have everything going for them......TIm was 30 and lived with his parents. He was just more relatable with regular people. I think the US office is Hollywood spin on white collar office employees

  • body fascism! haha!

  • Love british humor, prefer the office us though, can't beat the akwardness of steve carell.

  • I love the brirish who get mad over a tv show

  • Gervais! :)

  • how do people argue which is better? both these fucking versions suck. the show just blows period. the only difference is the stupid fucking accents.

  • I LOVE THIS, I LOVE IT!!!!!! If i got stuck on a desert island this is what i'd take, obviously a dvd player,tv etc etc! You get the point!

  • atleast start on him! hahahhaha

  • "That was affectionate... and he was a great detective..." hahahahahaha

  • The US version is better in my opinion. I have seen many episodes of the UK version and it's just a bit TOO dry for me.

  • "There's the face again..."

  • Why do people spend so much time arguing one show is better when the only thing you're entitled to judge is which is better in your opinion, your opinion is not fact. Both funny as fuck IMO<

  • UK was the orig, and is better, well thats what i think, its not from being biased because im UK. US makes some great films. but the UK version of the office is more funny, without a doubt

  • Leroy

  • US version is better. So what who came first?

  • @fabiopm you talk bollocks

  • body fascism!

  • um.

  • Mr. Toad... I can't...

  • I'm not gonna be WEARIN THE SHOES....AM I !!!

  • I'm an American and this is better than the American one!

  • wtf us is wayyy better wtf is this

  • Nope. US. Sorry, just, no. US.

  • @The101lemon Nope, sorry, UK.

  • @morrossey Nope, sorry, i farted.

  • @FreshAir911 apology accepted

  • @The101lemon you have a bad sense of humour

  • @LTBL88 i had that coming. yep, sorry, i did

  • I like the US one better but probably just cause I'm from North America.

  • Nick names are..... baad..namess!

    hahahah :') FUNNY!

  • @Por2gee123 The reason you don't find them humerous is BECAUSE you don't posses the requisite wit or intelligence. It's not just about the joke, but the delivery; this version is actually subtle and therefore believable, rather than your grossly cartoonesque abomination. America is inetellectualy looked down on by the rest of the world. get over it

  • I think the US version is better. ( I'm not American)

  • 4 people are obviously BODY FASCISTS!

  • @Por2gee123 If you wan't the show dumbed and watered down, have all it subtle nuances and wit removed, lose all of the intelligence and just render it another shit american sitcom for fat, intellectualy backward americans to watch.......then yes the us version is better.

  • @Por2gee123 you would only think that if you have a boring sense of humour, the only reason why the American version was ever made was because of how good the UK version is.

  • Great actors

Ricky Gervais been in loads of his own comedy's and films

Gareth been in all of the pirates of the Caribbean

Dawn been in Shaun of the dead

Tim has been in hot fuzz and will be starring in the hobbit 1 and 2

    all films are great.

  • @COOLZxTV since when is a remake ever better than the original? I would argue the chilean or french versino are better than the US as they are valid arguement

UK version = undisputedly the best

  • @COOLZxTV The US version is absolutely terrible, nobody can beat the original. Ricky Gervais is a brilliant writer and actor.

  • @BenTaylor20 thats pretty arrogant. the us version has more heart and is about more than one character. i like both, but i have to say i care more about the us characters

  • @transformboy007 How is the UK office evolved around 1 character? Please watch it before you make stupid comments.

  • @BenTaylor20 Both versions are equally good!

  • @BenTaylor20 Thats funny last I checked the UK version had shit rating and the US version had amazing ratings. Your country is shit period anyways

  • @TekBubs

    You checked wrong, McDonald's boy.

  • @pxe Nope I checked right. McDonalds boy? Clever. Not. I'm not American just FYI. The US version is loads better. Deal with it, ugly teeth crumpet eating faggot.

  • @TekBubs How do you compare ratings when the shows are from different countries with different styles of humour?

  • @barttan Easy, an index dipshit.

  • @TekBubs Again, how does using an index justify anything? So what if the ratings for The Office U.S is higher? I'm a big The Office fan and I have every episode and bonus content for both versions. Anyway, my point is, you're using ratings you got from what source? Some "U.S viewership ratings"? Of course the original Brit version would have lower ratings. It's like saying the cheeseburger is a tastier food as compared to noodles because more people eat burgers in the U.S.

  • @barttan Unclever fag is unclever. But seriously why are you getting so mad? The UK version sucks, deal with it.

  • @TekBubs Then the people who gave The Office U.S all their high ratings and awards should be shot since they also gave the same awards to The Office UK. And "why are you getting so mad?" should be directed at yourself. Usage of "dipshit" and "unclever fag" doesn't really make you the cool calm collected one, does it? I was genuinely interested in hearing where your "facts" came from. But now I see you're just grasping at straws to support your biased slanted opinion. Thanksbye.

  • @barttan Just deal with the fact that everything you just wrote was random, had nothing to do with the topic we were talking about and fabricated from your fingers. You sir, are a complete idiot. The Office > The office UK.
