In Maple Ridge, BC near where I live, a guy recently turned in a full grown golden retriever he claimed he found. In actuality it was his dog. This full grown dog named Cooper weighed a mere 24 pounds (11 kg), it's fur covered with feces. Coop is being fed 6 small meals a day to help him mend. On TV they showed him playing tug of war with his BCSPCA handler over a stuffy toy. He looked so happy and it was like he had forgotten his past miserable life. Makes me sad though.
