I think you miss the point of individualism. Yes, we do live in a society because we benefit from trade and cooperation, but when someone else labors to produce the food that I'm going to eat, I don't take it from him for free; I exchange with him the value of the labor which I produced through my own effort, so neither of us is in debt to the other.
As such, the individualist exists through his own effort by trading his effort with other individualists.

Anarchy doesn't exist. It's an impossible ideal, just like socialism and communism. These ideals can possibly exist, but they are only transitional and fragile *TEMPORARY* states of being in a society, inevitably followed by its next stage which usually includes someone taking over after the people are disarmed of their wits and are uncoordinated to prevent it. Anyone who disagrees has the right to their opinion, and they'll continue confusing matters of fact with those of opinion ad nauseum.

Most of the violence in this world is caused by people with power and those who are willing to accept it. As for the other part,the idiots as you said, we need to ask ourselves why they do what they do. Why do people steal? Well, most people are a product of their environment (in that case probably poverty) more than anything else (even genes in many if not most instances). Instead of trying to correct people, we should try to correct the environment.

Nowhere. The government has no real basis for legitimate authority. The only defense of the legitimacy of the government is the social contract, which is just a stupid concept, since it was never agreed to by both parties (me and the government).

Anarchy is moral because government is force. Governments, no matter how they are elected or established, democratically or not, in essence force their will upon others. If you don't comply with the rules of the government, you're going away for some time. I ask you, who said I agreed to comply to these rules? What if I don't want to be governed? Where does the right of governments to force me to obey come from?

I suppose you are familiar with John Hobbes? Hobbes said that human beings are savage if no one rules over them and therefor they need a government, which operates under a social contract with civilians. The problem is 1) social contracts are bullshit and 2) we have governments and human beings are still savage, if anything governments have been the cause for more war, death, famine, genocide, torture and coercion than other humans could ever do.

I think you miss the point of individualism. Yes, we do live in a society because we benefit from trade and cooperation, but when someone else labors to produce the food that I'm going to eat, I don't take it from him for free; I exchange with him the value of the labor which I produced through my own effort, so neither of us is in debt to the other.
As such, the individualist exists through his own effort by trading his effort with other individualists.

Anarchy doesn't exist. It's an impossible ideal, just like socialism and communism. These ideals can possibly exist, but they are only transitional and fragile *TEMPORARY* states of being in a society, inevitably followed by its next stage which usually includes someone taking over after the people are disarmed of their wits and are uncoordinated to prevent it. Anyone who disagrees has the right to their opinion, and they'll continue confusing matters of fact with those of opinion ad nauseum.

he does have a point there. but i think there is something to be said about the way that a lot of people use the word "individualist". true, when people say the extreme "im not just another cog in the machine!" they are wrong to the extreme. but some people are individualistic from certain parts of society. generally there is one popular belief, and people who do not believe the same thing believe they are at least sort of individualistic from the common belief but i see what hes saying for sure
