@FSAnimal61 ABR shows are over an hour buddy, and unless your a drummer you have no fucking right saying anything. a normal rock show is hard, but what he does is fucking insane. i play football and basketball, but playing a long show and doing what he does is deffinitely harder. go fuck yourself

The band has to be careful and drink water before they go on and do that.

Matt probably was suffering from heat exhaustion and was also lightheaded. This tends to happen when you perform under hot lights and are under the weather.
i didnt get why everybody thought this made him look like a pussy. if anything, it shows that his drumming is so fast and tiring that even one set can make him exhausted. but thats just me.
they should have called an ambulance just to be safe. I can only imagine how Matt felt. Being a drummer is one thing, but being a very technical and fast tempo drummer can and will take a toll on your body.

I was at this show. It was like seeing ABR in an oven. I've been to at least 20 concerts and this was the hottest one. ABR even said it was the hottest show they ever played. 15 songs in a gym packed with something like 2,000 people. The guitarists hands were pruning by song 5 and it felt like it was raining inside from all the sweat. This isn't Matt Greiner after just any show.
People need to watch the Home DVD Jake and Matt were sick before they preformed and they played 15+ songs. Most nights Matt would probably be fine after a show.

@TeptarKingOfTheOzone look drugs are never "good" for you, but they help people deal with certain issues and illnesses, Marijuana is a very good drug for needing to "mellow out" and as a pain reliever, and opium is just one of those drugs that i personally view as "not evil"
it has been with in the last 70 years that Drugs have become frowned upon, and while i do agree with cases like Cocaine and Heroin or other such drugs, Weed & Opium should be legal and are fine within moderation.

@LongboarderDude94 THANK YOU. I get sick of all these people bashing on metalcore because they "CLEARLY" can hear the At The Gates influences or w/e. In any case, well done music requires alot of energy and endurance (aka dedication), so whatever their style, influences, so on and so forth, just give the damn musicians the respect they deserve for having the challenges laid before them & coming out on top. Obviously not everyone can be boss so stop hating on those who are just cuz you aren't!

@thtawsomekid33 Dude have you heard the drum tracks for most of there songs? you gotta remember. they are playing like 4 shows a day and especially if there playing at night, those lights kill you. He was probably dehidrated. and he probably was sick. he looked exhauseted and like he was in pain. They are a christian group they dont do drugs.

@Shatterthebandpracis I've played shows on drums ten times crazier than an ABR show. I still manage to walk, drink beer and talk to people. I also weigh twice than what he weighs, which is more strain on my heart. I know what it's like and he's an overactor.

How can you guys say this stuff? Are you a musician, know what it’s like playing tons of gigs almost every night of your life, or even know how hot stage lights can get? He clearly played his ass off, got overheated and needed to rest. If a band member is sweating their balls off, all red and out of breath, it means they played a good set, gave 110%, and means that they’re quality musicians that put their whole heart and soul into the music not just for them but for YOU. Give him a break.
