Absolutely perfect voice. Alicia is the best. So extremely soulful and absolutely beautiful. No matter what, Alicia is always soulful and very passionate and emotional with all her songs. Some things never change. Maybe clothing style but not the soul, passion, or emotion she puts into every performance. She is amazing! Great then and NOW!

This cover of Donny Hathaway's "Someday We'll All Be Free" was performed on September 21, 2001. At the "A Tribute to Heroes" telethon/benefit for victims of the 9/11 attacks. I was watching live, as it aired on all the major tv networks. Alicia put chills and a flood of tears all over me with this performance. Seven years later, it still has such a powerful effect. Absolutely SUPERB!
