@occision miscomunication is a big part of why people think inside job, people said "it sounded like a bomb" the only 2 explosions that were ever identified were when the 2 planes crashed, some people may have heard an elevator hit the bottom of its shaft and that could sound like an explosion. you should check out the video series "miracle in stairwell B" 14 people survived inside the collapsing no. tower, they said they heard floors hitting one another.

if there were explosives they would have blew apart the steel support and the floors would have still pancaked, but the people in the stairwell would have (been dead by the explosives) reported hearing boom collapse on every floor but all they heard was collapse.

how did the planes avoid setting off the explosives upon impact?

@bd886 in the case of the towers collapses the amount of weight that was dropped on the floor below the point of the impact zone was greater than the strength of the steel that needed to support that weight, if the weight of the collapse was gently set on the floor below it would have held up the weight but because it was dropped on, that caused the steel to snap.

try this. take an open and empty soda can, 1st set, then drop from 3 feet a sledge hammer on it, see what happens.

the planes impacts destroyed a major part of the cores (the top of the so. tower leaning over is evidence of this) the fires, over time, weakened (not melted) the remaining steel, the weight above the impact points is also a factor, that is why the so. tower fell 1st, more weight.

@bd886 here is an example that works on the same principles as the collapses, take a piece of dry spagetti at both ends and bend it till it snaps, notice that a piece will fly away, if the steel at the WTC was cut by explosives or thermite it would not have snapped in places to cause it to travel as far as it did, it was the energy of the collapse that caused the steel to snap so pieces of steel did travel that far.

Only a few companies can make that it. You are limited in the amounts you can order also. Steven Jones and Neils Harrit published a paper in which they say they found nanoaluminum in the world trade center dust. The chemical markers for nanoaluminum are very specific. They don't just form by themselves.

@Daddyo930 the things they found in the dust was iron (material in the tower's construction) and aluminum (the plane was aluminum) oxyde, the heat of the fires did melt the planes, the collapse heated up the iron and steel, there is a chance that the 2 were fused togeather in the collapses.

There are only a few companies that are capable of making nanoaluminum. Once more, nanoaluminum does not form naturally from office fires or anything else. All the flammable materials in the building burned under 50 feet of insulation. As the air infiltrated to the core of the fire it was preheated. As the combustibles burned the heat was trapped causing the temperature to climb and climb since little energy was being radiated away.

@TheVarlic I'll concede there was thermite present it you'll concede that slamming a million pounds of aircraft (aluminum) into a steel (iron) and concrete (silicon) building also contains the "ingredients" of an alumino-thermic mixture. Sulfur is not a themite ingredient but any S present would certainly react with Fe and is present in wallboard as CaSO4. On another note why did some old biddy shut in save the dust? She's either a looney or a lawyer planning to file suit... Who saves dust?

@ctyankeestxvi There is one issue with the aluminum from the aircraft - both, the by-products of chemical reaction and unused thermite materials show clear presence of nano-thermite. It is a highly advanced incendiary device primarily designed for military use. It is not possible for it to appear from the airplane smash. It requires a very high tech production facility and only sold to properly licensed users on per-contract basis. If you want I will show a video reference on the findings...

"thermite" is not a 'device', it's a class of "mixtures" distinct from "compounds", and the high-tech facility you refer to can be as simple as a crucible and a chimney.
