  • Outstanding Jackson song. Possibly not as strong as studio recording but it has a wonderful poignancy with Lindley's oud playing.

  • Paisleyplace on child's acct: I remember when this came out. After hearing the 1st lines of this song, I was in tears and the same happened during the playing of Sky Blue & Black. It's difficult to explain the emotion but these two, much as The Pretender, Rock Me On the Water, just moved me so much I lost control of my emotions. That's what I love about Jackson Browne the most. You can get lost in his lyrics & have all these emotions. He's 1 of a kind & they broke the mold after he was made.

  • Paisleyplace on daughter's comp/acct.I could have listened to them all day long and all night. I have that album on CD & the 1st time I heard it, I literally cried. It was so moving; it's difficult to describe but I was literally in tears w/this one & Sky Blue & Black. The 2 just moved my heart so completely there were no words to describe it.

  • Music for angels...thanks a lot! =)

  • don't know why i have to write this, but here goes. i recall being a young teenager being in the distant mountains of Northern California with my parent and hearing my first Jackson Browne song and not knowing who he was and begging my Dad to buy me a transistor radio to I could find the song again. I held that radio to my ear for days and days until I heard him again. What a gift. Jackson's music helped carve my life. And now, my children's lives. They love him... How lucky are we?
