Fantastic news that Ted has found a home. I'm sure that his new owners will totally fall in love with him as I did with my greyhound. BUT people don't forget there are other greyhounds in need of homes. Going to see Jan and the gang in the morning at Blakemere craft centre well worth anybody coming down.
We are REALLY pleased and so happy that Ted is coming to be part of our family! We've never looked forward to Easter so much and cant wait to bring him to his new home! Emma and John are doing a great job with his rehabilitation and we'd like to thank them and everyone at The North West Retired Greyhound Trust for our perfect boy! They all do a wonderful job with the greyhounds! :-)
Update: GREAT NEWS! Ted has got a home to go to! Come Easter, Ted will be moving to Fleetwood with a lovely new family. Thanks to everyone who has viewed Ted's video & shared it with friends, your help is very much appreciated (apparently the charity's phone has been ringing off the hook since the video was posted!) Please remember we have many dogs just like Ted who are desperate for nice homes. I hope to post more videos of our greyhounds in the future so please visit us here again.
Hi Aphids, having fostered & rehabilitated dozens of dogs it would be impossible to keep them all (no matter how much we would like to) so the best we can do is help them as much as possible and find them good homes.
I got my dog from the same place as Ted came from. I saw him on their web site and now I've seen him I can't believe how good he looks. I hope you find a home for him soon. I would have had him but I've got my greyhound and a GSD. These are the best dogs in the world. Good luck in finding him a home!
Ted (or Teddy) came to us in January a quaking, shivering, cowering boy. Although a successful race dog he seemed to have little confidence away from the track. Over the last few weeks he has changed beyond recognition. Cats were never an issue & he likes other dogs & is confident around them. People were his main issue, but with continued support and confident handling he has made a huge improvement in just 3 weeks. Ted will make a lovely family pet with a confident, calm owner / family.
im so glad teddy has found a home.i use to care for teddy in his racing days.he is such a gentle man.all the best teddy bear x

He looks a lovely dog! I really hope you find a home for him. We can't have dogs due to tiny house and garden but wish you and Ted the very best!
