What type of firearm readily available could bring that helicopter down? I know something like a Stinger missile would do the job, but it has too be a weapon that is feasible to get a hold off.
A .50 BMG was often used used in the anti-air role in the past and .50 BMG is readily available in the US, even if it's only fired from semi-auto rifle I think it's the best bet.
Also what height does the helicopter need to be at to guarantee the death of all passengers?
To add, He DID salute the Marine before shaking his hand instead of ignoring the guy. Anycase, there is no regulation anywhere that says the President, being at the top of the chain of command has to salute. He's also a civilian. Again it all started with Reagan. So pretty much most president's before him, didn't salute. I've never seen any movies or videos of President Eisenhower saluting either (as President).
Just FYI the there's nothing that requires the President to Salute, he's the C&C and a Civilian, nothing says Civilians have to salute, if he wanted to give a high five that's the Presidents prerogative, no one's going to say anything, and it's the President choice.

certainly, cash for clunkers is working exceptionally well(probably the best program put in place thus far), the birth certificate thing was debunked a while ago, and he doesn't have a uniform as well as he is the commander in chief so he can salute in his boxers if he wants to. he may not have been in the military, but you have to admit, he has been perfect with international relations and things of that nature

I keep hearing how the US is the best place in the world to be/live. Yet all you ever hear from people like you is that you should increase your military even more, and more. How can increasing the military's budget increase peace?

What type of firearm readily available could bring that helicopter down? I know something like a Stinger missile would do the job, but it has too be a weapon that is feasible to get a hold off.
A .50 BMG was often used used in the anti-air role in the past and .50 BMG is readily available in the US, even if it's only fired from semi-auto rifle I think it's the best bet.
Also what height does the helicopter need to be at to guarantee the death of all passengers?

To add, He DID salute the Marine before shaking his hand instead of ignoring the guy. Anycase, there is no regulation anywhere that says the President, being at the top of the chain of command has to salute. He's also a civilian. Again it all started with Reagan. So pretty much most president's before him, didn't salute. I've never seen any movies or videos of President Eisenhower saluting either (as President).

Just FYI the there's nothing that requires the President to Salute, he's the C&C and a Civilian, nothing says Civilians have to salute, if he wanted to give a high five that's the Presidents prerogative, no one's going to say anything, and it's the President choice.
In fact if you read, the custom was only started by President Reagan, yes that's right, not too far back, before Reagan, Presidents usually didn't salute.

I agree with all you said, but you're wrong on one point. When that Marine officer was walking to the helo, the Corporal had already broken his salute and was just standing at POA, there was no salute for the officer to return.
