This is by far the best game i have ever played bar none...dont get me wrong i love FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, FFX, Legend of dragoon, dragon quest, pokemon, kingdom heart, u name it....but suikoden (especially the 2nd) really has something those games cant bring to the table....i really wish they would release this game on the psn...or even a HD version of all 5 suikoden + tactics in one ps3 disc....i would pay a fortune for it for sure...

This game is quite simply the best game ever created. I've never felt so much emotion from one video game. This is the game that taught me how to feel. I've never cried so much in one game. You really become one with each of the 108 heros and even the enemies.

This game deserves a remake. And more recognition. Its a masterpiece.

2 is easily the best.. 5 and 1 are great games with little between them. 3 was a try at doing something different that didn't quite work. 4 was just bad sadly.

This is such a nostalgic song. When I hear it, I remember being about 13 years old, playing this game on my playstation in my bedroom. Sitting on the floor with my eyes glued to the tv. It kind of makes me sad, 13 years have gone by since then, lots of stuff has happened. I'm sure we can all relate. Suikoden 2 is no doubt one of the best games ever. Im actually very impressed that even during 1998, Konami was able to accomplish what many gaming industries couldn't do today which is putting the user into the game itself. Suikoden 2's main plot is the disagreement of a few nations causing a war overall, but the story takes place of two characters (Riou and Jowy) who once took the True Runes find themselves fighting with fate and destiny.

I honestly think that this song told the entire story. Suikoden is always a story of betrayal, of losing best friends, family, and home. No song in the series captures that feeling better than this.

@EricToTheScionti I feel that this game's depth is too much for the average child and may even bore todays kids that are used to Halo, call of Duty and fast paced action and amazing CGI....i found though that with the evolution of graphics the depth of story seemed to dwindle to today's 3 G's of gaming (Graphics, Gore, Girls)....it seems that an involving and "evolving" plot wasn't necessary. Which is why i loved and still love old games compared to today's BS Glamor games.
