@gears142 you know art doesn't solely depend on technical execution... if the esthetic is simple maybe the whole goal is to emphasize the message, so why are you dismissing the message? "hypocrisy of american society" sounds pretty vague and off the point... to me it's more about the bullshit strategies that politics and tv alike use to persuade the population, and in return the stupidity and lack of critical thinking on the behalf of the population, the belief in empty symbols like "change"

@UnitedNewThinkers Ok, It was a bit vague as to what I said and on a more analytical viewing of the film I do agree with your interpretation. But I just can't shake off the feeling it's not a film. There's no artistic depth to the piece, it's too... Slogany. There's no underlying message (because the film is a message), plot, aesthetic quality, but it's message is good, I wish that film makers of today would do a little bit more to hit the idea home in a more masterful and well thought out way

@UnitedNewThinkers And you can't deny it's a little clumsy, especially with the dull the star spangled banner soundtrack playing in the background. It's as if they wrote the script without taking into account any theatrical process. It isn't a film and it isn't art. If I were to class it as anything, it'd be a poorly animated satirical cartoon.
