The sound in this song is totally remeniscent of 80's new wave genre music. Love it!! Synth melodies are fantastic.

I grew up listening to all the synth pop that could be listened to in the 80's and this song sounds so fresh to me and I have never been able to put M83 as a band that is remeniscent of anything from the 80 or 90's. That snyth sound is so fresh and modern and feels like the time we are in now to me along with all their other albums. If anything I feel they are more on par with Air. They are obviously influenced by artists of the 80's and 90's but are very different while progressing forward.
