Adebisi was a genius. He was a true leader. He knew once he had Kareem Said on his side, as allies, they could rule all of Oz because he knows Said has such a strong influence. That dance and Adebisi turning Said's hat to the side absolutely kills me. O'Reiley and Keller know it's over when those two team up. Haha.
@Hrossharsgrani yeah Adebisi would be great. heh to me he was the best of all of em, he had the heart of a lion. he represented true African power combined with american depravity and sickness. heh my favorite moment of his i think... was "gimme some tits.. GIMME SOME TITS!.... GIMME SOME FUCKING TIIIITTSS!" hah funny and loveable he was.
I never really 'bought' that Adebisi would believe Said here. I mean, did he completely forget what Said was about? Kind of a failure in dialogue and characterization, though the "Nothing... nothing..." is a great moment, as is O'Reily & keller's bit at the end
@647416 Adebisi doesn't represent black power, because if he does he wouldn't be faggot rapist behind bars. Malcolm X represents black power and he would consider faggot rapists a disgrace.
@ultradestruction hmm maybe your right maybe he does not represent black power... but he certainly does represent African power in my eyes. eh black people in this country... are just black people, their just americans heh and to me African power is really quite superior in good many ways. eh so many black people fall to american ways totally forgetting what they used to be. how powerful and how truly magnificent they used to be. people like Wangler hah! oh so many like him today.
When the show first aired I didn't watch it. I thought it lacked realism. After viewing an episode purchased in a flea market. I was "hooked". Like those "tits" Adebisi be "Feinding" on. I'm buying the episides (season by season) in the proper sequence.
I always thought that hat Bisi wears looks like an urolled condom. He was bad they should have given him his own show with the guy that plays Furio in Sopranos.
@PrincessSunshine11 lmfao omg I think you're rite. 1:31 to 1:42 tha intensity in both of thier eyes was like "I jus want to fuck tha shit out of you.".
I hear a interview by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (the real adebisi) , and i was used to hear his african-english voice. I didnt even know he was brittish! Sounded so wierd and he seemed to be so nice !
i know right? that would have been a good twist! it would have been funny or very dramatic or a shocking/turning point in the show or maybe all of the above
i love said & adebisi storylines anyway they shoulda went all the way w/ it lol
@BlackBarbie412 yea that definitely would have been one of those "WTF!?" scenes lmao. i know right?? Said and Adebisi made the show! They suck for ending their storyline. There was such great chemistry and symbolism there. I miss them.
This is one of the greaest shows ever made! They should not have ended it BUT the ending was damn good and it was a great way to end a show.

Well Islam came to africa as a means of binding together the separate warlike tribes. But simon celebrates that violence. He believes that it makes him a truer african and his followers a tribe.
I said elaborate...You are mentioning Simon Adebisisi...yes he became more of a tribal African...Your first comment was the struggle all black people face...please explain each of our struggles...Apparently you know more about me, then I know myself...As an African-American male I have not felt that struggle before...I finished college and got a career...Never felt I had to be a tribal African or a Muslim to be who I am today...Explain

@lazeeegirl Yeah, I LOVED this part where Said has that sexy ass smile and joins them in saying "Nothing! Nothing! Nothing!" I remember thinking "Oh shit, Said's joining forces with Adebisi's crazy ass." LOL.
Not rape, more consentual. At the end of 4.1 he tells Said that...hang on, let me look it up..."I want to kiss you. But...I admire you more than I desire you." He mentions something about love later on, too.
Adebisi wasn't gay as far as I know--he mentions in season 2 that he hated gays before he came to prison. But then, Beecher wasn't gay either. I guess being in a closed space with no women does that. *shrug*
